The Slytherin manor was just as full as the last time Lilith had been there, the golden lights coming from it and the elves at the entrance working as servants for the pureblood elite were too familiar for her. She couldn't help but remember the day she had been formally arranged to Fred, with the exception that day she arrived next to her mother and now it was next to him.

Looking through the corner of her eye, she couldn't help but notice the obvious stare full of despise in Fred's eyes. He looked as if he wanted to set the whole manor on fire, and being honest, Lilith silently wished he could do it.

"C'mon, they are probably waiting for us," she sighed, starting to walk and dragging him with her. They entered together observing all the luxuries and glamorous elements the Ball was being decorated with - it slightly reminded them of the Yule Ball back at Hogwarts during their Sixth Year but way more adult-like and elegant.

Lilith immediately distinguished Liv's blonde hair braided in a Dutch braid with some silver jewellery on it that delicately fell over her shown shoulders. Olivia had chosen a beautiful grey dress, a bit bolder and showing than what Liv would normally wear, but that made Lilith smile, proud of her best friend. By her side was George and both of them were comfortably talking to Willow and Theo, keeping the distance just in case the hundreds of eyes in the manor decided to land on them.

Fred attempted to move towards his twin but Lilith immediately stopped him. He looked at her confused and scowling.

"We have to greet the Dark Lord first, Weasley," she mumbled.

Fred rolled his eyes and was about to reply when his eyes focused on someone behind Lilith that made him stand straight and glare at that person who happened to be his mother-in-law. Circe approached Lilith without giving a second look at Fred - not giving Lilith the chance to refuse first, she grabbed her daughter's hand and pulled her into a tight hug that made Lilith feel she was about to throw up.

"Lili, baby," Circe whispered, caressing her daughter's hair. "You are late, you know the Dark Lord hates delays, the French Minister is already here, I have to introduce you to him."

Lilith held back herself from gulping and managed to nod.

"Oh, and bring the blood traitor with you, they need to think you are actually in love," Circe said making her tone become slightly colder. When Lilith started walking, Fred was about to follow her but Circe stopped him, grabbing his wrist and making him look at him. Fred felt disgusted, anger and hate as soon as he looked into the woman's black eyes and serious expression. Her hand was freezing and her harsh stare looked as if she wouldn't hesitate even for a second if she had had the chance to kill him, "Careful with my daughter, you filthy traitor. You might be married to her but she is way out of your league, you better respect her or I'll make sure myself to slice your throat in your sleep...or maybe even repeat what I did to your uncles."
