Funtime Freddy's P.O.V

"Missed again," spoke Helpy. "Ah! He'll get it next time," spoke Springbonnie. Bon Bon glared at her, looking angry and annoyed over her words. "Easy for you to say. The only one who's gotten it down is Mangle, Michael, and Bonnie while the rest of us are here scratching our heads on what the hell we're doing wrong!" exclaimed Helpy in response. "Like I said before, this was never going to be easy," I said. "Well could you at least help us or offer some advice, so we aren't here all night?" asked Helpy. "I'll help as best as I can," I responded as everyone turned to face and listen to me. "What I've observed from most of you who are struggling is that you're just guessing certain spots where someone might be or move to when you enter in this world from the Shadow Dimension, rather than narrowing down where they can be." "Yeah, how can you learn that in a certain amount of time, if at all. The person you could try to attack could be long gone from where you appear from, or they can predict where you would show up," said Helpy. "True. However that depends on timing, reaction time, and the surrounding you'll be appearing in how and far that area extends where someone is in your range. Let's say you travel to the Shadow Dimension then back to this world, which takes a second to do at once, which gives someone in our world a second to move spots. You know that they have little to nowhere to move during that time, even if they move quickly right after you enter the parallel dimension. Still they may have a quick reaction to counter you if you choose to attack, which means you'll also need to have a quick reaction time in case that happens. Then this all leads into the area, the important factor in all of this. You need to keep in mind the area you are in when you enter and leave the Shadow Dimension, and where someone can move from. If you minimize the possibilities of how far someone can go or leave in that area, or what distance you have, then you can intercept your enemy with no trouble," I explained. "Charlie, let's try it out together for a demonstration." She walked on over to me, as everyone watched hoping to understand what I had just explained. "I'm going to attack you by going traveling through the other dimension then back here, and all you need to do is defend yourself against my attack. I want you to also move spots when I leave this world and it doesn't matter where you reposition yourself or where you go, though I won't give an exact amount of time on when I'll appear and strike you'll have to be prepared regardless. Got it?" I explained. "Yes," she responded. "Alright, on my mark," I said as she got into position. "Now!" I instantly teleported to the Shadow Dimension and waited until the time I set for Charlie was done. I would give her three seconds to change her spot which, in my mind, was a good enough time for her. Considering she was close to the end of the wall opposite of the garage door, most likely she would move close to where the garage door was. Still I had to make sure I would appear in a spot that was close to that area if she wasn't near there. I ran across towards the garage door and once I was close enough to it and was in the middle of the room I exited the dimension and entered back into the real world. Sure enough Charlie was near the edge of the garage but still closer to the middle that it looked like she still was making her way over towards her spot. I immediately lunged at her as she quickly attempted to put up a shield, though it was pointless as she was slow which allowed me to punch her in the stomach. She fell on the ground as I could hear everyone surprised at what I had just done, even if this was training. "You good?" I asked offering my hand to pull her up. She looked at my hand, probably still not used to the sense of compassion nobody could give to her for most of her time. "Yeah, I'm good," she responded taking it as I pulled her off the ground. "Told you he makes these things too easy," said Helpy. "Just makes me want to learn how to do it more," said Springbonnie. "You're reaction time and timing were good, but ultimately didn't matter because you weren't taking note of the area and where I would appear from. You took notice that it would be better to move towards the edge of the garage and right up against it so I could only attack from the right, left or front side. However I also took note of the spot you would choose, considering being in the same area where we started would give you a disadvantage and you wanted to have room where everyone wasn't nearby or in the way, which narrowed down the routes you would take. Also you didn't reach the edge of the garage on time, while I accounted that there was a possibility you wouldn't be in that spot you were planning, even if I had no way of knowing you would reach that spot in time. I just took precaution and chose the area I would return to carefully to ensure I would be near the door but also near the middle of the room if you were there as well," I explained. "What if I went on over to the door into the house instead and you still returned to the same spot you used just now?" asked Charlie. "Well I wouldn't be able to strike as effectively or at all. It also would've given you an advantage since everyone is blocking the way and would delay the time for me to strike as I would have to get past them or enter the dimension and try again," I responded. "What if I move again and you're off once more?" she asked. "Then perhaps I use it again, even if the same results occur once more. Or I give up on using it as a strategy. Like I said this power is not easy to use with the many variables and things to keep track of that dictate it's use, but when those variables are understood and used properly the ability can change the battle in an instant," I answered. "I don't see the point of learning it then. Why learn it if only the best here can understand how to use it while the rest of us sit here wishing we were in the same league as them," expressed Helpy. "Perhaps some motivation is necessary," said Mangle walking on over to me now. "Me and Freddy practiced already with me defending against his attacks, so I'm familiar with how this works already. However, even then I was able to quickly learn and defend against his attacks and even strike back effectively." "Good to know. The point being?" responded Helpy. "You see being in a fight involves many factors you have to keep note of and pay attention to during one, though one is necessary to win a battle. To be able to predict or have an idea what your enemy may do during a fight can help you quickly defend and retaliate against an enemy, even if you don't know exactly what they could do," said Mangle. "You rely on chance and something that may or may not happen, which means you don't know if you'll succeed or allow your defeat? No way I'd gamble like that, if not ever," responded Helpy. "Yeah, she's talking about a different type of gambling, not the one where you risk money or anything valuable for odds to be in your favor of winning," said Bonnie. "It's like taking a risk, you either prepare for an attack to the face or an attack for the knee but you don't know which one it'll be. However you can prepare for both attacks or focus your attention one of those things and less of another, even if the results are the one thing you didn't focus on as much. You either lose the advantage or miss an attack, get knocked in the stomach or you lose the battle. However you can decide your battle still and how to win it and allow those predictions to do so. In a way we've already have made predictions or guesses in a battle or a bad situation, right?" "Right. Many times in fact, even if we don't realize it at first. We're always taking gambles or decisions that effect the situations we're in, all which factor into the outcome. It's necessary, even if you disagree with it," said Michael. "So the same should be used with attacking someone with the Resurrection Power?" guessed Charlie. "Precisely," responded Mangle. "And it took you this long to respond? You could've at least said something to help us," said Helpy looking at Bonnie and Mangle. "I thought you would've at least offer advice to your own cousin." "I could've, yeah. Though I chose to see her hopefully figure something out or understand what she was missing. Didn't matter because she was distracted, like usual, with you failing over-and-over as well," responded Bonnie. "Oh c'mon! You gotta admit it's funny seeing the little dude flying out of another dimension and landing on the ground," said Springbonnie to Bonnie. "Well... Ok, it is a sight to be around I'll say that much," responded Bonnie. "Wow. Ok assholes," said Helpy. "Alright, let's get back to training now," I said returning their focus back to what we were doing. "Does it make sense now Charlie?" "I think so," she responded. "Alright, we're going to try this again. We're start from this spot but everything else is the same deal; go to a different spot when I leave and block my attack. Ready?" I said. "Ready," she responded. "Alright on my mark," I said as she positioned herself so she would be able to react as soon as possible and move to whatever spot she was thinking of.

"Go!"

I once again entered the Shadow Dimension, as I planned on giving Charlie two seconds this time around. I didn't tell her the time would change, as she needed to take note of predicting and accounting for something like that. I would guess on her being towards the middle of the room and close to where everyone else was, that way she would only need to worry about three sides than all four. I ran on over to the exact same area that was in the middle of the room and close to where I would be in range of her if possible, as two seconds had passed by. Once done I exited the dimension and back into our world, ready to make my move. My eyes quickly peered to her in front of me, though she was between Bonnie and Springbonnie. I had an idea of what she had in mind with this, as I went in for the punch aimed at her side. Bonnie and Springbonnie were quick enough to jump to the side to ensure I wouldn't hit them by any chance though only when I was in range of possibly hitting them, which was what Charlie wanted. She held up her arm and Shadow Shield she was able to make and blocked my attack, clearing passing this part of the training. "Well done," I said proud of her thinking. "You were able to move to a spot next to Bonnie and Springbonnie, which allowed you to gain the upper advantage with them moving out of the way of my attack at the last minute and allow you to block mine. You've done good. Way better then good. You did great." "Just predicting like anyone would," she responded with a small smile. "For a second I really thought my chin would have a dent in it," said Bonnie. "Ah, I knew we would be alright," said Springbonnie brushing it off. "If you say so," he responded. "Alright, I hope this helped with the training. I'll let all of you continue now and you can ask me, Bonnie, Michael, or Mangle for help if needed. If not I'll be here," I said. Everyone went back to their training and into their positions and spots, all a lot more eager to advance this skill. My job was to help them after all. To be honest I predicted they would at least understand the basics or get somewhere on this skill, I predicted they would finish this training as new people in a way. My prediction was coming true, more so than what I had thought. Even as they all had strengths and weakness I still saw them all as capable of becoming something more with this power, and they had surpassed the expectations I had for them. Now afterwards would be the time to see the training come to a close and reflect on how far everyone had come. They finally were ready to cross the finishing line and I couldn't be more glad to see them at the end of it.
