Funtime Freddy's P.O.V

I was expecting to feel the emptiness; be engulfed in it once more. The void of nothing was not worth spending eternity for. However, I found myself to see color instead of the usual black, as if it had never existed. But with that darkness coated in fresh paint, the essence that held onto my me could be felt through the walls. Instantly I realized the layout of the room I found myself in, a room that belonged to our old house. I had to take a moment to process my surroundings, just because of the feeling of being back home again. I knew Duality had something to do with the surroundings, though I didn't mind it all. At least I had the chance to see the old home for one last time. I slowly walked past the living room and into the kitchen, all but admiring the beauty our house never lost, until I finally noticed Duality himself sitting alone at the table with his back facing me. "Back so soon, as expected," he said at once turning around with a gentle and comforting smile. "I decided it was best to add some detail and life to this place, one recognizable and warming for both our personal comforts." "It's very much appreciated," I responded back with. "Come sit. We both have much to discuss, don't we?" he proceeded as he noticed for me to sit on the seat to his left. I shifted my way over to the seat next to him, and pulled out the chair while placing myself on it. "Care for something to drink?" asked Duality, who had a cup of tea in front of him. "Coke, if you could please," I responded. Duality nodded in response as he got up from his seat and walked on over to the refrigerator. "From what I understand Michael and his groups mission resulted in uncertainties and fatalities," he said opening the fridge. I looked down at the counter top, all but having to recall the events that took place from what Michael mentioned. I couldn't imagined what it would be like in person to witness a tragedy. "The second time his sister has known of their whereabouts and have ambushed them; the enemy somehow knows of their plans and location at all times," I responded. "And what is the conclusion you have drawn from these events?" asked Duality while grabbing a bottle of Coke and closing the door for the fridge. "Obviously the enemy has tapped into something at Henry's house, or someone, and has listened in on their conversations to relay that information back to the pizzeria for their own use. The problem is tracing the source, whatever it may be... If that is the case," I responded. "That problem can be resolved, though we can step back from it and return later to it. You have questions about the Resurrection Power," said Duality walking back to his seat and handing me the cold and dripping water bottle of Coke. "Thanks," I responded taking it from him and setting on the table, just to take a minute and chat before drinking. "The power activated in Michael and the others, and knowing each one holds a sustainable percentage in one of us you have the key to unlocking its potential and full usage. That won't be the problem though, won't it?" "Indeed each and everyone of you is eligible on taming this power, it was gifted to all of you for a reason after all. Training those with a small percentage of the power, which are: Funtime Foxy, Mangle, Bonnie, Springbonnie, Bon Bon, and Helpy, will be of no concern and can be trained with everything they need to know to thrive in a day or two. Michael on the other hand will need be taught with further principles and understanding to wield the power, due to his high percentage of the power, and the same can be applied to Charlie as she hasn't fully mastered her power herself. With time draining minimizing the necessary training with the power must be reduced to have the user wield it properly," he responded. "That responsibility for training the others must be bestowed beyond to you." "Me? Are you saying I have to train the others?" I asked. "Yes. I will allow myself to assist you to train the others in order to maximize efficiency during these times; we are short of peace and prosperity and will not gain any more of it until this is over," said Duality while sipping his cup of tea. Once he was done he placed the cup back at the table, as he looked back at me now "Once you learn of your newfound powers your assistance to train those under you will prove vital and detrimental to your cause, either that or you allow yourself to succumb to William's rule." "I'm aware of what's at stake, I've been reminded of it during my short life; it's engraved like I wear it around to wherever I go," I responded opening my can of soda now. "I want to assist the team in whatever form I can and this might be the only way of doing so. Returning to the fight... or I guess considering it has been planted in my mind long before I've spent all this time reflecting on everything... I just need answers, something to go off of and resolve this state of being I'm in." "And so you seek guidance. You see me as the answer," said Duality turning to face ahead of him, all while taking another sip of his tea. "Sitting around and thinking. Just being alone in my thoughts... it hasn't amounted to anything I hoped it would. I've lost more of myself than gain the tools to reform me into what I was once. The piece that always kept me standing... just isn't there anymore," I responded turning to look ahead as well, while taking a sip of my Coke now. "What you fear; the thing that has taken form into a reconstruction of your mind is a fear understandable and what any living being could experience throughout their life. For your kind there is no place for you, in your mind. Nothing, no reality or place to feel is a torture for most; a prison meant for those of all kind, no matter what they were before. It is not deserving for someone of your status and actions. Our kind deserves a resting place after our work," he responded. "What you were given is the first of your kind to experience in history, something the future can cherish as they look back on your accomplishments like a photo gallery. The humans have clashed at other over our place and purpose in the world; endless debates that have resulted in more futile discussions that proceed to continue the cycle and which may never be resolved. But all that you and your friends have done, a family inseparable to most, has showed the world and god himself your value to everything and why all of you exist now. Among all the chaos and complications, you haven't ignored the existence of flaws in you. It is what makes us human, as they would say." "Then you can provide me something to go off to revert my focus back onto what I could believe to achieve so simply? Something that can't easily go off the road?" I asked. "I have only just laid out the foundations of the answer you wish to use," he responded as I took a sip of my soda. "What you once had, which can only be viewed as prosperity has been lost in you, at least a part of it. That is something that cannot be regained at once, it requires time and experience for that tank to be filled like it was before... The personality that makes up you in the inside and outside; the strengths one can understand at a glance when set in motion, and the flaws you admit to having makes up a balanced and admired individual. Your status is revolutionary to belong in history. Your life is only complete when you say so and you'll know that yourself... You may not realize but you have the answer to your cure your state of being, you only require others to help you see that answer for you. Only by opening up about this problem with your friends will you unravel the answer you seek; only than will you regain your prosperity. That is something you do not deserve to lose... nor your humanity." "I guess I never really considered that. I pushed back from even sharing my problem with the others; not out of selfishness but more of it being my responsibility to fixing my condition myself. It was more to deal with, not them. I was too focused to realize that had been indirectly affected, regardless without their involvement... Especially Bon Bon. I'm not taking responsibility for his actions and how he almost got himself killed because of his obligations to avenging Bonnet, but I know without me he lost the sense of who he really was. All but revenge has divided our friendship with him and I, including everyone else affected by his actions; who knows what he'll do when he fully recovers. I've always been a sizable assist that hasn't taken up too much room for others to work alongside me, but I feel Bon Bon sees me as the bigger man here than anyone," I responded. "I had to keep us going when Michael couldn't with Purple Guy tainting his words and actions at every moment, even with the little morality he would let out once a while. I had to keep the whole group organized and from collapsing due to pressure or stress. All that leadership has painted me as someone who would never step down from my position. Maybe it was my personality and who I was that lead Bon Bon to believe something so little and effective couldn't change all colors around me to black and white. I encouraged my girlfriend to change to who she could be comfortable with becoming, I gave everyone else a home, I became someone others could look up to... Now look what that prominent status is viewed to be now... " "You feel as if returning to the fight will make things right again? That it'll cleanse the time and loss?" asked Duality. "I just have to force myself to be the person I was before all of this. Before death, and before whatever awaits me and the others on the other side. Even if I don't have the will to be apart of the battle I'm sure I'll regain it when we all confront Afton in the end. It's one of the few things that keeps me going, and that keeps me questioning the timing of when my life will end for certain," I responded. "Then what you desire is partially in your hands already. I see you the way you always were once again; prosperity has been earned," responded Duality. "Going back to our previous talk on the enemy, if you allow the flash drive to be kept on you for the time being I can scan and communicate with you on anything I find during the process. Though I must warn you that William will have other methods of listening in on all of you, whatever that might be. His intelligence gives him an advantage with his tactics and how to exploit any weakness you or the others might be holding back from the normal eye; don't underestimate that strength of his." "Based on what I've learned from every event he's manipulated into occurring I know enough that he's more than what we thought him to be. I just hope we'll find a strategy on taking him down, without him predicting our plans at a single glance," I responded. "He himself has a weakness, don't expect it to be found so easily," he responded. "Our time spent has reached it's limit, though before we go I again highly suggest taking a look at the information I've provided about the power. When you are ready to begin your training and with the others, it will be the time of when heroes will rise to be successors to one another. The path ahead and what is to follow when William's own blood falls from his fingers will not be without it's obstacles and hardships; that motion of actions and events have begun before your very eyes without knowing yourself. Even my time of purpose will suffice for so long until this is over." "I'll keep that in mind; all that you have provided. And thanks for the help. Things evolved into something nobody could've predicted. I mean, maybe you, but none of us could see into this unclear future. I guess it's better to experience uncertainty in your life, no matter how unforgiving it can be sometimes," I responded. "Your existence and what you fight for crafts reasons for me to exist, to provide knowledge for your cause and to build your family into a force that can resist against Afton's future. Becoming inadequate cannot be real in my mind," he responded. "I do hope you enjoyed your time here, though perhaps a different change of scenery can be done with your next visit." "Please, it's your home and your free to have the way you want it to be like," I responded getting out of my chair as I finished the last of my Coke now. "Better than feeling like I'm dead again." "I do calculate the others reactions to my being will be very convoluted when we have the chance to speak with all of them personally; we sometimes forget us machines are one of a kind," said Duality. "Yeah, we take traits as what most living beings do... fighting each other over one thing," I responded. The house and Duality had disappeared in a flash, all while I was sent back into reality. When I went in I felt like how I had felt for the past couple hours: Empty, not myself, a variety of things that didn't feel like me. I felt like I had lost a lot of who I was.

The person I was once was felt like I was able to see him again in the mirror again. I could myself again.

I still wasn't fully who I was before this whole ordeal but now I could see just the reflection of my old self in the distance, walking so faintly as the bright sun of a better tomorrow reflected off of me.

I could dream again without just pushing it off as a false hope.

That hope for laughing the way I could, leading the way I could, weeping the way I could.

That is all I needed to remember I was born just barely a month ago, and life was letting me flow down the stream the way it should be.
