Funtime Freddy's P.O.V

It was inevitable the others were bound to confront me about the choice I stated to everyone, especially with how they viewed me as their leader to an extent. For the past couple minutes, I could hear nothing but chatter in the other room all among the others; planning on how to solve this current situation that had evolved into one in their eyes. All but allowing me to sit silently and wonder in my own train of thoughts. And as much as I appreciated their concern for me, there was no way to go back to the false life we had before this. Eventually the chatter stopped and now the sound of someone's chair scraping across the floor took its place, along with the sound of someone walking towards where I was sitting. From down below and across the railing for the stairs, I could see the oddly deformed head of Springtrap walk around the corner as he stopped to notice me halfway sitting down on the steps.

"You know what I'm here for."

"Obviously I do. But it won't change much," I responded as he walked up the stairs and stopped right below me. "All I want is an explanation for the sudden change in heart," he responded as he proceeded to walked up further, as I moved to the right to let him pass by. He sat himself next to me, all while staring at me. "What happened to you? Why do you perceive your life as false?" he asked turning to stare ahead now. "I wasn't born with it. I just received it accepting it was a normal life, only to be one in the hands of Afton. Even after death, his hands had littered the pieces of it and to show we can never escape his grasps. I never knew a man could have this much power. And because of it his shadow will forever be over the mountain at all times, watching the creations he gave birth to that unwillingly drink his blood," I responded staring ahead as well. "We both now I'm the son of that man, and that I can never change that," he responded turning to look at me now, as I did the same. "Discovering my own father was the one responsible for turning me into this..." said Springtrap looking at his hands. "As much as I didn't have time to express it, I was furious. I regretted being apart of the family: What happened with Elizabeth and my mom, the whole family was a death sentence in its entirety. But I realized I can't let the past define me for much longer, and that I must prove now and redeem myself over the family name and things I have committed myself." "And you got past it. But I have to live knowing my whole life is a lie from now on," I responded. "We all have to live with it now, and I'm given the unholy burden of having that in my blood the rest of my life. But what you're feeling is nothing compared to what I had to endure in all honestly... I just don't understand how this is holding you down with the little strength it has on you," said Springtrap. "It's holding me down because of the fear that I don't know where I'm going in life," I responded. This surprisingly paid an interest in him, as he turned to look at me now. "After me and Funtime Foxy got together, I felt like I could visualize the path I wanted to take for the future: Possibly get married to her, have kids, maybe even start a business that wasn't the failure like Afton's was. Do something with the life I was given. But knowing the influence Afton and this Scott Cawthon possibly have over us, it is now only something to wish he won't interfere and ruin." "But what's really clouding a foreseeable future for you?" asked Springtrap still staring at me. "The unknown and whether us robots really have a destiny to follow, it's what holding us down. Can we really survive without Afton? Without realizing it, his reputation and what he's down in the past has kept us active. But what happens when he's gone? Will it all be forgotten so easily? What about us animatronics living in a world where humanity hasn't full accept humans, and especially those that never will? When we even live in it right now?" I responded. Springtrap turned away and stared ahead, not speaking or giving a response for a moment. "I don't think we'll ever forget what has happened with both of our lives. I can't easily forget about the man my father is, how my mom faced a grim fate, and how this franchise can easily turn us evil so simply," he responded, before turning to look at me again. "We can't forget because once this is over, once my father and Scott are defeated, we have to avoid anything from resulting into this nightmare again. If not, it's bound to happen over-and-over with no consideration." "Like we'll have the chance to win," I responded staring ahead. Springtrap let out a sigh, one that felt like he was dissatisfied with my response. "Perhaps you should take a leave of absence on the journey ahead, at least until you have your mind cleared as to where you life will take you. Just know you don't have forever," continued Springtrap. "Sooner or later this fight is going to drag you in, with or without your will to oblige. But all I ask of you, is that you help us at least defeat Afton and Scott. Surely it's a cause worth taking part in without fighting as the only option. That's all I'm asking," said Springtrap. From below the stairs and from the hallway we could hear the sound of footsteps, most likely not Henry considering how loud and mechanical-like our feet were usually. "You guys having your bro moment? Man, I tell you this world really does have everything," said Springbonnie walking into the room and staring at us from below. "I told you this world is no different from the yours," responded Springtrap with a faint smile. "Yeah! Our world," she responded. She paused for a moment, as if mentioning the other world had an effect on her, yet the moment previously she seemed fine. She definitely seemed like someone who had an interesting personality. "Anyway! Henry wants the both of you!" "For what?" asked Springtrap. "Ah, you know? Plans to go somewhere. Road trip. Ah, it doesn't matter! Sounds like a mission to me," she responded. "Alright, we'll be right there," responded Springtrap. She turned away and walked back towards the kitchen now, as Springtrap proceeded to stand up from the spot next to me. "At least join us to hear for what our next plan is. Not involving yourself is only going to keep you in the dark from a possible hint at a path for you," said Springtrap as he walked down the stairs. "I'm only doing this because I'm aware you and the others will insist if I decline," I responded standing up now. "Would you say no to Foxy?" asked Springtrap reaching the bottom of the stairs. "Even if it were just her asking, she still would encourage me to continue. She's and I are the reason why we're still together," I responded walking down the stairs now. "And you believe after all this, the both of you will love each other forever?" asked Springtrap as we both walked towards the kitchen now. "Why is this of relevance anyways?" I asked. "Well. My mother would always say it was rare if one's love at first sight was their permanent one. And she thought that chance had chosen her when she first married my dad," responded Springtrap. "A shame she was proven wrong so soon." "I'm sure she'll be happy to know you've given yourself the task on ending his so called legacy," I responded as we walked inside the kitchen now. As we walked inside, I was presented with everyone seated at the dining table, who were all patiently waiting for us. "You called for us?" asked Springtrap, as we both sat at the two empty seats in the middle. "Indeed," responded Henry, as I took the seat on the right where Bon Bon was, while Springtrap took the seat to the left of me where Bonnie was. "Before you share the reason for gathering all of us, I must share my current involvement with this journey I had dedicated my life to. I won't be partaking in any of the tasks or missions we have to reach Afton, not until I decided where my place is in all of this," I stated. "What? So you're like. Taking a vacation or what?" asked Springbonnie. "It's a leave of absence you could say," I answered. "What! After all we have done to find Afton! I know we're back at square one, but you had the most determination out of all of us when it came to reaching our goal!" exclaimed Bon Bon. "Things changed. And so has my perspective. I need time to reflect on whether my purpose really means something in this world," I responded. Everyone stared at each other, all taking my words into consideration and what their true purpose were to me. Everyone except Foxy
