Funtime Freddy's P.O.V

"My god. I never thought I would feel tired, especially not look like this," said Helpy with a cup of water in his hand. "Man, this reminds me of the training you and me went through with Mangle remember? Good times," Springbonnie shared with Bonnie. "Not for me, I remember barely gasping for air the first day since I was not used to it. At least this is nothing compared to that time," Bonnie responded. "At least you grew a spine since the first day, more so how you've grown as time went on" said Mangle. "I guess I got to thank you for that," he responded with a small smile. "Heh. I would've liked to be there to see that," said Michael. "Me too. Sounds like it was a good time," I added in. "Well, no need for that since you've already witnessed that time in another form. Your training Freddy," said Mangle. "A well done training session that is good enough in my eyes and that will no doubt pay off in this conflict. I'm confident of that." "You thought it was that good?" I asked. "Well... could've been better. But good enough for me," she responded. "Always gotta have that critique side of you taint moments like these," said Michael shaking his head with a smile. "It's a side I can't help suppress, but is necessary if I'm being real," responded Mangle with a chuckle. "Then it's good enough for me. Thanks," I responded. "Well, I guess I can't give my full opinion with one lesson remaining," she responded. "You're right. Then it's time to finish it," I said resting my empty glass of water on the table. "Alright everyone! Break is over! Time to finish our training!" "Thank god! Never wanna do that again!" groaned Helpy walking over to the table to rest his cup on the table on. "Still going to have to use everything you learned in battle if needed," said Bonnie walking over to the table to rest his cup as well. Springbonnie chugged her glass of orange juice since it was full and rested it in the table, as I could see Bonnie and Helpy both give her a look. "Try that with soda and see what happens. If you can that is," said Helpy to her. "You're on! We'll compete afterwards and see who can chug soda and finish first!" exclaimed Springbonnie confident. "I never agreed to that," said Helpy. "You just did when you made your comment," said Bonnie. "Yeah right, like I did," muttered Helpy softly but loud enough for everyone to hear as they both made their way to where everyone else was. "Alright everyone! Everything has all come down this. All that hard work, blood, sweat, and tears now ends for this last lesson. You have all shown that with everyone using the ability of traveling to the Shadow Dimension and back, and especially learning how to use it to attack and defend. After the last lesson all of you will complete your training and be ready to rival and stand against our enemies on common ground. But for right now we will focus on finishing the training. This last part of the training might be the hardest out of everything you've learned," I explained. "Wait? Harder than going to another dimension? Using it to attack others we don't know where they might be and having to guess to do that?" questioned Helpy. "In a way, yeah. But this will also be the easiest part, depending on how it goes," I answered. "You see this last ability will depend on all the training everyone has endured and will test if that person is ready or not with the power they hold." "Care to explain?" asked Michael. "Sure. This last ability let's you enter a state where your power is enhanced and stable, like getting a boost of power to make it understandable. It's called the Resurrection State, which temporarily increases the strength and impact of your power, like using the power at it's maximum. However it is only temporary like I said and the length of it depends on the person and their mental capacity, along with how they've mastered the power throughout the training. Activating the power is easy though keeping it active is what will prove difficult and being able to handle the amount of power. Using and being in the Resurrection State will leave you with a cost of draining your energy, becoming physically and mentally tired, and a feeling of fatigue, which the effects will depend on how long you are in that form and if you are capable of being the form for a period of time. The effects will also be greater if you are in a fight and take considerable damage in that form," I explained. "So this determines if we pass or not," said Bonnie. "Basically, yeah," I responded. "Now to activate the Resurrection State you must look within to you see the power, basically what we did for the first lesson. When you see the power you need to realize the state of it, what is further beyond than what it is and see what more it can become. When you see the true state of it, the true power, you must control it as well as letting it control you. Let your strength become the powers and the powers strength become yours. If both are not balanced you will not be able to stay in the state for long, if not at all," I explained. "I'll demonstrate." I focused my attention on looking within me, seeing the power resting inside of me and waiting to be used. I could see the power it was holding back, waiting for me to realize and accept, as I did offering power for its own power in return. I could feel the power rushing through my body and my soul, as well as I could feel both my eyes changing black and white to signify the true power of the Resurrection Power. I could see the others in awe of the power I had and the state I was in, which I felt the same way when I used this ability for the first time. The immense power was something to be felt, but I could control it and not let it consume me. It was like having the power of a god, something that didn't seem obtainable yet I felt like I was one. Even so it was I feeling I ignored and wished to not possess. Even with this amount of power it was something that should be used for good and to help others, not to bring harm and destruction. I intended on using it to defeat our enemies and defeat William Afton, nothing more. I looked within me once again, parting ways and putting this state of power to rest, as I went back to my normal state. The surge and immense power was gone, and I felt like a normal being again. "Shit. I don't think I've seen something like ever in my life. That was a sight I'll never forget or could feel the energy of," said Helpy speechless. "So... that was like feeling like god? Right?" asked Springbonnie. "I guess you can say that. You'll definitely feel the overwhelming amount of power you use to enter the Resurrection State, though that doesn't mean you can abuse the power or use for something that isn't in our best interests. And some of us don't have to have that much power to begin with," I said. "To be fair I don't think anyone of us are qualified to be gods, nor want to be one," said Michael. "Yeah. Having powers are cool but I rather have them for a day or something. Besides, who cares about being a god when you're a normal person," said Springbonnie. "Heh. Can't go wrong with that," said Bonnie. "Anyways, we'll start now. I should also note that Mangle will not be participating as she has yet to complete her training and Bon Bon will be here to finish his training as well, just in case anyone was wondering," I announced. "Regardless let's finish the training. And we'll end it with Michael starting first." "Alright," he responded. "Do you need me to explain how to activate the power once again?" I asked. "I'll manage. I've defeated my demons and I'm confident I can defeat the thirst for power," he responded. "Alright then. Start whenever you're ready," I said. Michael got in position as I could tell from his expression that he was focusing all his energy on seeing the power within him. After about a moment the surge of power erupted and surrounded him, transforming another being with the power of god. I hadn't seen the transformation of when someone was in the Resurrection State, but seeing Michael activating his power at it's fullest with unlike anything I had ever seen, even if I had the same power as him. Experiencing what the others said when I went into that state; it really did feel like I was staring at a god. To hold that power of a god was more astounding than seeing a god in front of you. Michael's eyes were black with white pupils, showing the power at its fullest had emerged and been complete, though now came the part of keeping control. "Good. Now you have to stay in that state for a minute. In that time try not to sever the control between you and the power and do not reject it, instead accept it for what it is and share the strength both you and the power possess," I commanded. "Right," said Michael calmly. He seemed to not be having any trouble at so far, though a lot could change over the course of a minute. Still, like he mentioned this would be nothing compared to what he's been through. Moments and seconds passed by as everyone waited patiently and anxiously to see what would result during a minute, if anything at all. Finally after a minute passed by as the energy and power that could be felt from Michael slowly faded away, along with his black eyes with white pupils. After a moment he was back to normal, proving he was more than capable of handling of being in the Resurrection State. "You've done great. This shows you are more than capable of understanding the Resurrection Power and having it aid your side," I said. "Yes. The power I'll use to stop my father from taking any more lives," responded Michael. "Indeed," I responded. "Alright! Bonnie you're next." "Right," he responded stepping forward as Michael went back to his spot. "Just remember what I explained before. Unless you need me to do so again?" I said. "No I'm good. I got it down... It's just a matter of if it works," he responded. "Let's find out. Whenever you're ready," I responded. He got into position as he focused on entering the Resurrection State, as we all waited. After about a moment he was successfully able to enter the state, as his power increased and his eyes changed to black with white pupils. "Good. Just stay in that state for a minute," I said to him. "Alright," he responded. I had faith Bonnie would be able to stay in this state with no trouble at all, especially since he had learned from Mangle. He showed good leadership and was capable of the position, though isn't willing to enact confrontation when needed or ever. Still he was a good leader and more so a great family member to Springbonnie, something, I'll admit, made me smile when they expressed their relative-like banter with each other. Around fifty seconds in I could tell his expression was showing something, like a distraction or something he took notice of though I wasn't sure if he was losing control or not. Finally a minute went by and he exited the Resurrection State, returning back to his normal self now. "Did you have trouble keeping control? You looked like something was bothering you," I asked him. "No. Just annoying trying to keep that power from taking full control. It's like a voice telling you bad things in your head repeatedly that you can't block out but only ignore to not succumb to it. Is this what it's like being in the form as well?" responded Bonnie. "Pretty much. Like I said before you need a balance between control over the power and that means keeping control of it from taking over and consuming you entirely," I answered. "What happens if you lose control and it takes over?" he asked. "Well... I can't say exactly but from what me and Duality guessed the power will take over everything. Your mind, you body, everything. You'll be consumed and you'll be an animal with no mind or heart to control your actions. You'll just be let loose and do whatever in that state without control... and possibly cause a lot of damage and harm to the things around and others," I said. "I'll keep that in mind," he responded. "Regardless you managed to stay in the form with little trouble so you are capable of wielding the power with good intent," I said. "I will. For the safety of this world and for my friends and the people I knew in our world to rest in peace once William and his followers are defeated," he responded. "Alright, Charlie you're up next," I said. "Alright," she said stepping forward, while Bonnie went back to his spot. "You need me to explain what to do again or are you ready?" I asked. "I'm ready," she responded. "Alright. Whenever you want to start," I responded. She focused all her energy on activating the power, as we all waited for the results. Charlie took a little bit longer than the others though after a moment or two she entered the Resurrection State, attaining the powers of a god. "Alright stay in that state for a minute," I said. I had faith she would be able to stay in the form, considering everything she had been through. Her whole life had been of misfortunate: Losing her mother, her life, and being in a curse that trapped her with everyone else that had been a victim to the curse. Though for someone of her age and everything she had been through, she prevailed through the worst and helped, at least, have the souls of the children killed not to have died in vain. Now she was reunited with her father and was helping us defeat William and his forces. About half a minute in I see her expression showing signs of struggle; she was losing control of the power. "I'm not sure she's gonna be able to do it. You better do something," said Helpy taking notice as well. "No. She's got this," said Springbonnie seeming confident in her answer. I wasn't sure if Charlie could keep control or not, but I would wait for a couple seconds to see if anything would change or not. Suddenly her expression that showed struggle disappeared as she seemed to be in control now, which stayed that way for the rest of the minute remaining. Once a minute had passed by she returned to her normal form, triumphing over the power and influence of being in the Resurrection State. "You regained control, even when the power's influence had a hold over you," I said. "Yes, it did try to take over but I pushed back it's control. I won't let something else control my life again," she responded as she turned to Springbonnie. "And thanks for believing in me." "Always will," responded Springbonnie with a thumbs up. "In any case you proved you are capable of possessing the Resurrection Power and using it for good," I continued. "Thank you," she replied back. "Alright, Springbonnie you're next," I said. "Good luck," Charlie said to Springbonnie as she went back to her spot. Springbonnie nodded in response as she stepped forward, prepared to enter the Resurrection State. "Don't need a reminder, I'll already know what to do," said Springbonnie right as I was about to ask her. "Alright then. Whenever you're ready," I said. She focused all her energy and concentration on activating the power, as we all watched to see if she would succeed or fail. A moment later she activated the state successfully, though it did take around the same time it took for Charlie. The surge of power was felt around her as her eyes changed to black with white pupils, becoming a powerful being now. "Whoa! Ok! This is kinda cool, I'll admit," she said looking at her hands with the purple energy surrounding them. "Remember stay in the form for a minute and don't lose control," I reminded her. "Bet!" she responded as she waited. I had hope she would be able to keep control of the power for a minute. Springbonnie had few fair share of pain and suffering, especially after losing her friends and family, along with Mangle and Bonnie. The difference was she took it a lot differently than the other two and her usual happy and upbeat attitude withered away as the week progressed. It wasn't until Bonnie helped her with her pain and reduced those wounds that clearly needed to be mended, and now she had returned to her happy and fun self. I hadn't known her long but from what I knew she was good in battle and could remain happy when we are facing the most grim times to be living in. That was something I could respect. About half a minute in her expression showed struggle, which meant there was a possibility she would lose control. Still I waited to see what would happen and if she could overcome it. "I'm not losing control. I don't need your power to be strong. Go away already," said Springbonnie aloud. Finally she was able to regain control as her as a minute passed by and she exited out of the Resurrection State and back to her normal. "Wow, you guys weren't kidding. It is like a bunch of voices trying to tell you to lose control and go berserk and it's kinda annoying to hear repeatedly," she said. "How'd you deal with them?" asked Bonnie. "I just blocked them out of my head. Just focused on something that kept me focused and keep control," she responded. "Huh, impressive. You defeated the urges of the power and kept control. Good work," I said. "Was there ever any doubt?" she asked. "Heh. No. There wasn't," I responded with a chuckle. So far things were going smoothly with everyone but now it was down to three people, which I wasn't sure of their results in this. "Alright Helpy it's your turn," I said. "Oh boy," he said as he stepped forward as Springbonnie went back to her spot. "Do you need a reminder of what to do?" I asked. "No I'll do fine... I hope... " he responded. "Ok then. Whenever you're ready," I said. He took a deep breath then proceeded to concentrate on activating the power. It took a moment but he successfully activated the power as his eyes changed to black with white pupils and the power of being in the Resurrection State would be felt from him. "Alright stay in that form for a minute," I said. "Yeah. Alright," he responded. I wasn't sure if Helpy would be able to stay in control for a minute or even longer, not because he wasn't capable but he lacked confidence in a lot of his actions and what he could do. Still if he had the confidence to overcome this he would be able to stay in control, and perhaps that would allow him to be able to stand against our enemies more properly in battle if it ever came down to it. It's why I believe it was one of the reasons Henry didn't want Helpy to participate in the training for the war by being apart of the battles themselves. Not even ten seconds in I could tell Helpy was already struggling with keeping in control as I become concerned if I should stop him and have him return to his normal form or not. After about a couple seconds of nothing changing and him still struggling I decided it was best to stop him and ensure he didn't lose control. "Helpy turn back to your normal form. You're losing control," I instructed. "No! I got it! Just... Just wait! I need confidence... I can do this," he responded. "Helpy-" "I got it! If I don't do this I'll never be able to survive in battle or this war! I've come this far and accomplished so much I'm not about to take all I've learned and let it go to waste!" he exclaimed back. "Just stop now! You can try again and practice more! You won't fully fail!" I commanded. "No! I have to do this! Trust me just as I'm trusting myself!" he exclaimed back. I was about to deny his request but the way he said his words, the expression that he had to show he was holding back the overwhelming power made me change his mind. "Freddy you have to get him to stop! Helpy!" exclaimed Bonnie. "He's right. We have to trust in him," said Mangle in agreement. Bonnie looked like he was wasn't sure of her answer but ultimately seemed to accept her words as he turned back to Helpy. All of a sudden Helpy yelled to express him trying to overcome the intense feeling of power as he suddenly went quiet. Finally a minute passed as he returned back to his normal state, as I could tell he was catching his breath. "You did it... You overcame the power and stayed in the state... " I said surprised. "Yeah... No shit... But I guess... all that... training... paid off... after all... " said Helpy still trying to catch his breath. "It sure as hell did for you," I responded. "And I'm proud to say you successfully proved you are capable of using the power when needed for our mission, and perhaps when you join us on the final assault of William's domain. If you choose to that is," I responded. "Ask Henry that, not me. Still, glad I've managed to accomplish something for once in my life. Now I can die knowing I did something with it," he responded. I could tell just how happy he was for his accomplishment, which I was glad to hear from him. It really seemed like to him his life didn't mean much to him, considering he hadn't done much with being alive for like a couple weeks or so. He deserved to feel accomplished for something that might seem trivial or meaningless to someone else. "Alright Bon Bon you're up next," I said. He didn't responded as he stepped forwards, all while Helpy returned to his spot. I had allowed Bon Bon to participate in this and the previous lesson due to time and his attitude at least changing, in a way. He was a lot more quiet now, almost like he was holding back from lashing out whenever someone said something directed at him. Especially with Springbonnie making comments about him from time-to-time I'm surprised he just hadn't gotten pissed enough and punched her in the face. He had been like this ever since I had Duality or someone else train him and it hasn't really changed. However I'm not convinced he has been doing so because he understands what he was doing is wrong. He still has a face of hate and revenge so clearly he doesn't need to say it himself, something that still reminds me of the hate that consumed Michael not too long ago. For right now he was a ticking time bomb that would denote whenever he felt like releasing his anger out again.
