Nats pov-
I hadn't seen y/n in a couple of hours, my girlfriend always came to get some food whenever she was working. Time for me to go investigate.

I'm walking up the stairs into our office of our shared apartment.
Nat- " baby you ok in there"
I got no response. I knock on the door it's locked. She never locks the door.
Nat- " y/n baby unlock the door"
No response again. Shit.

Your pov-
I couldn't open the door. I was paralysed on the floor I could get up. If I got up the day continues. There's all the work to do today, tomorrow, the day after than and the day after that. God there was just so much fucking work and my mind could not handle the amount of things spinning around in it.

Nat- " y/n baby unlock the door"

I go to speak but nothing comes out. Tears streaming down my face. Just breathe.

The next thing I knew the door was flat on the floor and my girlfriend came rushing in to my side.

Nat- " it's ok baby. I'm here"

She pulls me into her arms and brushes her fingers through my hair, occasionally rubbing my back.

You- " I. Can't do it. There's just so much work. The numbers and letters..... they..... they don't go together"

I cried into her arms more and more.

Nat- " come on let's get out of this room and get into bed. It's not going to help staying in here"

I tried getting up but she scooped me up bridal style and we went into our bedroom. She shut the blinds and put on the TV. I cuddled into her and she stroked my hair and kept repeating "it's ok. Your ok. I'm here".

Nats pov-
I had never seen y/n in such a state before. She wasn't an emotional person. She did get stressed and I did my best to destress (😏) and it was usually fine. Why didn't she speak to me about this?

About an hour passes and we have just been lying in bed together with the tv on, we haven't spoken much.
Nat- " baby you ok"
She nods
Nat- " talk to me. I don't believe you. "
You- " it all just got too much, im sorry I didn't talk to you about it but I couldn't explain it as I couldn't understand what was happening."
Nat- " it's ok baby. Im here and we can work through this. We can just chill out for the rest of the day and you rest that pretty brain of yours"

She looks up and I give her a forehead kiss. She snuggles in closer and within a couple of minutes she's asleep in my arms.
