I'm currently laying in a field with Mer and Alex.

Meredith: it's gonna rain.
Alex: it's not gonna rain.
Meredith: told her to have the reception indoors. This wedding is doomed even if it happens because it's definitely going to rain.
Delilah: Mer, you want it to rain.
Alex: you are willing it to rain.
Meredith: I am not willing it to rain. She's just so full of feelings all the time. Why can't she just cram them down and shut up like everybody else?
Alex: you can't expect her to be Cristina.
Delilah: that's Mer's point. She's not Cristina.
Meredith: what Lilah said. That's what I mean. Owen wants this? Owen's marrying this?
Delilah: hey! I happen to be related to that.
Alex: he said yes when she asked.
Delilah: Jo still hasn't given you a reason?
Alex: I don't need a reason. She doesn't want to marry me. I'm done. It's over. Maybe it's nobody's fault. Maybe you only get one.
Meredith: one what? Soulmate or true love? Well, then, who... Izzie?

I haven't heard that name in years. I look over at Alex.

Delilah: Ally, Izzie wasn't your one true love.
Meredith: Lilah's right. And even if she was—
Alex: what was Derek? Are you telling me that you think that's coming around again?

I mean, Alex does have a point there.

Meredith: that was different.
Alex: how?

Just then, it starts to rain.

Meredith: I told you it was gonna rain. This wedding is doomed.

Alex pulls me to my feet then I drive with Mer back to the house. When we get there, we find out the Amy has locked herself in the bathroom because nobody from my side of the family is coming to the wedding.

I'm not surprised. She's been engaged before and it never really worked out, and now that Amy finally found something real, they refuse to believe it. I love my family, but I'm so disappointed that they refuse to believe that Amy is truly happy and that her life is finally normal.

Delilah: let me try and talk to her.

I stand up and knock on the door.

Delilah: Ames. Ames, it's me. Open the door and let me in. Don't make me break this door down, you know I will.

I hear the door unlock then I quickly walk into the room. My heart broke when I see Amy crying.

Delilah: oh Ames...

I pull Amy into a hug and she instantly breaks down in my arms.

Delilah: shh. I'm here Ames, it's okay.
Amy: they aren't coming. I'm all alone, it's just me.

I rub Amy's back in a comforting manner.

Delilah: you're not alone Ames. I'm here. I'll always be here.

I allow Amy to cry in my arms for a while then we sit on the floor a bit in silence.

Maggie: Amelia, we're here for you, okay? As long as it takes.
Meredith: 20 more minutes and I'm ripping the door off the hinges! Amelia, stuff your feelings in!

I mentally laugh at Meredith. Typical Mer.

I hear a knock on the door and I was relieved to hear Owen's voice.

Owen: Amelia, open the door.
Delilah: Owen, she's in here. I'm coming out.

I unlock the door and quickly walk out, Amy shutting and locking the door instantly after.

Delilah: talk to her.

I run downstairs and I start calling my family. First person I think of is aunt Nancy.
