Blessing

"I'll be back, hey can I talk to you ." I said looking at the twins and Joe. They nodded getting up as we walked outside.

"So what is going on."

"Look you three mean the world to her aside from the kids. You are the most important people in Leilani's life and after Summerslam I am taking a vacation but I'm surprising her with one, two, we got like 3 weeks off but the reason I needed to talk to you was because well I can't imagine my life without her and I love her more than anything and I want to ask permission to ask her to marry me."

"What?"

"I want to marry your sister, do I have your blessing?"

"Holy shit!" Joe said looking at me. The twins looked in shock. "Yes."

"Colby I aint seen her as happy as I have when she is with you yes." Josh said.

"What uce said, she's never been happier, you need to ask moms but you got our blessing."

"Well before I call your mom I need to ask two other people. Nakoa and Kea!" They stopped and looked at me before coming over.

"Yeah Colby?"

"I got to ask you guys something."

"Ok."

"I love your mom more than anything and meeting her changed my life and I adore and love you guys to and if you are ok with it I-"

"If you want to marry her yes." Kea said hugging me.

"Wait you wanna marry mom?" Koa asked

"If it' ok with you I would like to."

"What did my uncles say?"

"They said yes, I have their blessing."

"Then I am ok with it, your pretty awesome and mom is happy and she really loves you so yea but if you hurt her I'll get my uncles to beat you up since you are bigger than I am."

"I wont thank you."

"Colby do you have a ring?"

"Yes Kea I do it's back in Iowa."

"Do you have a picture?"

"Not on me but as soon as I ask I'll get her to call and show you."

"Ok." They ran off and I stop back up.

"Um I don't have your mom's number and I don't want Leilani to know."

"I'll call her" Josh said. "Hey mom Colby got something to ask you, you not around dad is you?"

"No." He handed me the phone.

"Hi Mrs. Fatu how are you."

"I am good Colby, I hope you are coming here tomorrow."

"Yes we are, we are staying for the week until we have to leave for Raw."

"Good, what is it you need to ask me sweetheart."

"May I have your blessing to marry your daughter?"

"Do you love her?"

"Yes, more than anything, she's the love of my life."

"Promise to love her forever and keep her safe and happy and my grandbabies."

"Yes."

"Then you have my blessing."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"Just I need both of you as happy as you are to not say anything."

"We got it." After hanging with Joe a bit we caught a flight to Pensacola. Trin picked us up and dropped Lei, the kids and I off at her place before her and Jon left. Walking in the kids ran to Tevita and Ali hugging them. Then they hugged Lei before fist bumping me.

"Kids, give me your bags so I can do laundry, you to handsome. I went with the kids tossing clothes in her washer. I hung out with them before Lei decided to grab pizzas and wings for dinner. The next day we drove to her parents house. Walking in Jon was talking to Sefa who scooped Lei up hugging her. He gave me a knowing look as he fist bumped me and Jon nodded indicating he had said something to him Lei hugged her other brother Jerimiah and her nephews before hugging her mom while holding Sefa's kid. Her family really was very male-dominated.

"Colby come here." I hugged her mom who kissed my cheek. "How are you?"

"Doing ok." I ended up outside with her brothers and the kids while she was inside with her mom. They were having a small cookout and they kept an eye on the grill while we played ball with the kids.

"So, when you plan on askin her?" Sefa asked

"Well I'm taking her to a football game Thursday but after Summerslam, I'm taking a vacation and I'll probably ask her the first week because I don't want to chicken out or lose the ring or her find it."

"Her birthday is Monday."

"I know, I'm telling her about our vacation Monday and giving her tickets to Hawaii, and I'm telling her about the game."

"What game you taking her to.

"Bears preseason opener, she's never been to a game before, I know it's not her team but I wasn't able to work it out."

"She'll still have a good time man" We had a fun night at her parent's even though the tension was there with her dad who hardly spoke to either of us. We went back home and she dropped the kids off with Jason so they could see him before we left, she had made plans to get them stuff for school tomorrow so I knew I would be home at her place with Tevita and Ali.
