Kurt's POV
I pulled up a chair and sat down. I don't care how long I have to sit here, I'm not leaving Z's side. Especially if he doesn't make it. I want to make sure I'm here for his last moments. My mom walks into the room.
"Hey Kurt honey, come on we are going home." mom says
"I don't want to leave Z." I say
"Don't worry Z's parents are staying here, so he won't be alone."
"I'm not leaving Z."
"Kurt, honey" mom says but I interrupt her.
"I love him mom, I'm staying with him I can't leave him."
"Fine, there's no reasoning with you, just call if something happens."
"Thanks" I say
Mom leaves. I refuse to leave Z's side. he would do the same for me. I yawn and glance at a clock, it's 4:00 AM.
I try to stay awake but fail.
DinnerBone's POV
I stick my head into Z's room, Kurt is fast asleep. I head back to Docs office.
"Kurt's asleep." I say
"That's probably for the best." Doc says
"Yeah, I really hope Zisteau makes it through this."
"Yeah me too"
Zisteau's POV
I slowly open my eyes. I'm not cuddled against Kurt. I'm in a white room. I'm not in terrible pain anymore, I feel almost normal. I slowly sit up. Kurt is fast asleep in a chair. Awe poor thing.
"Kurt" I say softly, Kurt mumbles something incoherent. I chuckle quietly.
"Kurt" I say shaking his shoulder slightly. I notice my arm is pink and decaying. Wait, I'm so confused. what is going on?
My thoughts are cut off when something basically jumps on me.
"Zisteau! I'm so glad your ok I love you so much!" Kurt says
"I'm really confused Kurt." I say
"I'm so glad your ok."
"What happened Kurt, why do I look so weird?"
"I really don't know how to explain it. Just remember I love you no matter what." Kurt says.
"Well of course, but why?" I ask. I'm so confused.
"Well, um, your a zombie pig man" Kurt explains
"What?" I'm so confused. That would explain my arm though.
"K-Kurt, I'm scared." I say.
"It's ok Z" Kurt says and repositions so I'm sitting on his lap.
"I'm so scared Kurt, I don't understand."
"It's ok Z, everything will be ok." Kurt says soothingly
"But I'm not human anymore, I'm hideous, how could anyone love me, how could you love me."
"Z I love you for you, not what you look like, you are still the same Zisteau I fell in love in with a year ago."
Someone I don't recognize enters the room.
"We can finish this discussion later." Kurt says and kisses my forehead.
"Zisteau! how are you feeling?" The person asks.
"Great actually" I respond
"That's amazing!"
"Who are you?" I ask
"I'm DinnerBone."
"Oh, ok"
"Kurt, could you leave for a few minutes please?" DinnerBone asks
"I don't want to leave Z though." Kurt replies.
"I know Kurt, but he's awake now everything should be fine."
"Fine" Kurt says with a sigh.
"Ill be back a soon as I can." Kurt says
"Ok, I love you." I say
"I love you to." Kurt responds.
I kiss his forehead and get off his lap. Kurt leaves the room.
"What exactly happened to me?" I ask
"Well, as you have probably figured out, you turned into a zombie pig man. We aren't really sure why though."
"Oh"
"I'm gonna allow you to go home today, but I want you to be very careful. We don't know how deep this really affected you.'
"Ok"
"Your parents are here by the way."
"Where is here exactly?"
"The Mindcrack hospital."
"Oh, ok"
"Do you remember anything from before you passed out?" DinnerBone asks
"I remember waking up in pain. It felt like my head and chest were burning. Kurt was helping me to the car and I had a terrible pain shoot through me. That's all I remember." I say
"Ok, I'm gonna need to run some tests, but ill let you relax for now, ill come back in an hour or so."
"Can you have Kurt come back in here please."
