13. How can that happen?

Louis was kind of nervous as he talked to Polly Carter and her fiancé about their wedding. Harry Styles was about to show up to go on that coffee date, and Louis was going to have to put up a good show for him, an 'I really like you, let's sleep together' show, and he didn't know if he was ready for that. He hadn't had sex with anyone in years, which was reason enough to be nervous about what needed to happen, but adding the fact that he hated the man he was going to do it with, made everything even worse.

Was the whole plan crazy?

Well of course, it was insane!

There was no doubt about it.

But was he going to chicken out?

Not a chance.

After the appointment ended and the clients left Louis's office, he looked at the time, it was 5.15, so he still had time to prepare himself mentally. He went to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror, he looked a bit tired, he was always tired this days to be honest, it probably had to do with the fact that he hadn't slept on a proper bed in about a month.

"You can do this Louis" he whispered to himself "Do it for Matty".

He then splashed water on his face, dried it and went back to his office to gather his things, he wasn't going to come back after the 'date'. He was just finishing up when the phone of his office rang, and he knew it had to be Jerry.

"Yes?".

"Mr. Tomlinson, Harry Styles is here for you, should I let him go into your office?" Jerry said.

"No, please tell him to wait for me there, I'll just be a minute" Louis replied, he couldn't risk Harry seeing the pictures he had of Matty on his desk.

"Alright" Jerry agreed.

"Thank you Jerry" Louis said and hanged up the phone.

Louis took a deep breath and headed out of his office.

"Come on Louis, you've got this, be flirty" Louis whispered to himself.

As he walked to the reception area, he caught a glimpse of Harry sitting on a chair, looking in the opposite direction of where Louis was coming from, and right then, the elevator doors opened and none other than Liam walked out of it with Nora and Jace.

"Harry?" Liam said recognizing him.

The thing was, Liam knew absolutely nothing; nothing about Louis going ahead with having another baby, nothing about him going to the sperm bank, nothing about Harry Styles being the sperm donor and of course, nothing about the insane plan he and Niall had cooked up.

Should he go out there and face Harry and Liam at the same time?

Was Liam going to question that Louis was going on a date after he had sworn off relationships and had stuck to it for more than three years?

Of course he was!

And he was already suspicious, he knew something was up, he had told Louis himself, and Niall had told Louis that Liam kept asking what was it that they were hiding from him.

He needed help to handle Liam right now.

So before anyone could see him, Louis turned around and ran into Niall's office, not even thinking he might be with a client and he just opened the door abruptly.

"Niall hang up that phone now! This is life or death!" Louis said urgently when he saw Niall with the phone on his ear.

"I'm going to have to call you back Mrs. Reynolds" Niall said.
