HARRY

It was the Saturday they were supposed to go have lunch at Harry's mum's house, and to be honest, Harry was a little nervous.

Despite everything his mum had told him, he was still afraid of her being rude to Louis, which was something she had done in the past when she met Harry's previous boyfriends, so it was a valid concern.

They were still going though, but Harry wasn't going to hesitate to leave her house if she said one inappropriate thing to Louis, because he was the person that mattered most.

That was the same reason why Harry had let his boyfriend sleep in that morning, while he took care of both kids, and now he was bringing Louis breakfast in bed.

But when he entered the bedroom, with a tray in his hands, he found Louis quietly crying into his pillow, and it broke his heart.

"Oh, baby" Harry sighed, and left the tray on top of the dresser.

When Louis saw him, he tried to hide his face from him, but there was no use to, Harry had already seen him.

"Sweetheart, what happened?" Harry asked as he sat on the bed.

"Nothing" Louis said dismissively, as he wiped his face with his hands.

"You're crying Lou, that's not nothing" Harry said softly.

"I don't even know, Haz, I just felt so sad..." Louis shrugged.

Harry sighed, as he gently brushed Louis' hair back with his fingers.

This wasn't the first time this happened, sometimes Louis would just start crying for no apparent reason, and there was nothing Harry could really do about it, because no matter what he said or did, it kept happening.

"Could you maybe hold me for a little bit?" Louis asked, his voice small.

"Yeah" Harry said giving him a small smile.

So he laid down on top of the bed covers, and Louis snuggled up to him, burying his head in the crook of Harry's neck, and Harry wrapped his arms firmly around him.

And that's when Louis started crying again.

"Shhhh, it's okay" Harry said soothingly "Everything's okay, Lou".

There was nothing more he could do but comfort him, and wait until Louis stopped crying, which took a while, but it happened eventually.

"Daddy?" Matty's little voice said.

Harry looked in the direction of the door, and saw Matty hesitantly standing there.

"What is it, monkey?" Harry asked.

"I think Wuby pooped, she smews yucky" Matty declared.

That made Harry laugh, and Louis too, which was something nice to hear after all that crying.

"I'll go change her" Harry said, as he got up from the bed, and went to grab Louis' breakfast tray from where he had left it, and took it back to the bed "Monkey, you come keep papa company in the meantime".
