🇮🇳CHAPTER FIVE~

"Richa!"Trishani called Richa who was throwing a ball towards a wall and catching it back.

"Haan bol Thakur. Mahi Bhai se maafi maangne gayi thi tu bhi?"Richa asked turning towards her and fidgeted with the ball while walking forward.

"Haan, aur Anshika ne out kiya tha jaan bujhke, yeh batane gayi thi,"Trishani said.

"Vah na mhaare ko bilkul bhi acchi nah lagti. Mhaare ko toh Kharbanda pasand se as a Captain,"Richa said while looking towards the field, where Drishti was jogging alone.

"Yahi pucchna tha tujhse. Why do you like her so much and favour her always?"Trishani asked while looking towards the field.

"Because she is too good. Vah ke dil mein jo se wahi zaban par hove se. Chahe baat karwi hi kaye na ho. Aur humesha jo sach hove se, jo sahi hove se, vah ke liye stand levegi jeh. Observe kiyo hain maine. Aur toh aur, ikbar vah, doh saal pehele waali incident thi....mhaare state team ki Captain Anuradha Bansal neh mujhe aur ek aur teammate ko jhaar diyo tha wickets na le pai thi main Punjab neh khilaf ekko bhi, aur vah duji wali out ho gayi thi duck pe. "Punjab team ki hokar Rajasthan team waalon ke liye stand liya?"Trishani asked.

"Wahi toh! Vah alag se na, tabhi sab soche hain ki attitude wali hain, gusse wali hain. Asal mein aiso na hain. Apne team se bada pyaar tha isey. Saare teammates ek baar mein baat maante theh vah ke. Aur records bhi toh kitno accha se Punjab state team ka. Sher se sher. One of the best team se. Jaanti hi hogi tu. Khela hi toh hain. Kabhi notice na kiyo isey tuney thik se?"Richa asked.

"Nahi! Matlab, mere saamne aisa kuch incident kabhi huya nahi na...mujhe nahi pata tha sachme,"Trishani said while the duo walked towards the field.

"Areh Bajla, Thakur ko bhi utha layo? Chal thik hain. Chal bowling kar mainnu batting karni hain,"Drishti said while running around them.

"Kharbanda!"Trishani called.

"Bol Thakur!"Drishti replied while continuing to jog around.

"Nahi chhor!"she said and started walking away. Drishti stopped and asked Richa in sign language, what's the matter.

"Dosti karne aayi thi thaare saath. Ibb bhaag rahi se,"Richa said with a chuckle.

"Aye tujhe kisne kaha?"Trishani said turning back with a frown.

"Haan toh teammates hain. Dushman toh vaise bhi nahi hain. Anshika ka pata nahi. Alag praajati ki praani hain voh. Saali Behen ki lau.....kher, baki sabse koi problem nahi hain mujhe, aur tu mujhe vaise bhi pasand hain Thakur. Accha khelti hain. State team ke wakt se hi,"Drishti appreciated Trishani.

"Thanks! Tum bhi bohot acchi khelti ho. Itna jaanti hoon main,"Trishani said coming back towards them.

"Batting practice karegi? Partnership build up style dekhte hain. Richa bowling karegi hum dono dour dour ke runs lenge, compatibility dekhenge,"Drishti said.

"I am ready!"Trishani said excitedly.

"Alright then, Bajla and Thakur! Let's do it,"Drishti said extending her hand and the duo kept their hands on her's and added together,"let's do it!"

It was the first ODI match against Bangladesh of the bilateral series. Bangladesh was thr host and their captain has lost the toss to Indian Captain Anshika who have chosen to bat first.

"Anshika tuneh Drishti ko kyu nahi khilaya? Acchi wicketkeeper hain aur toh aur power hitter bhi. Runs jodne mein asani hoti..", said Shalini.

"Uske jagah Shehnaaz ko khilaya hain na. Voh bhi acchi player hain aur MS sir nahi hain abhi matlab sare decisions mere. Mujhe jisko khilana hain usko khilayungi. Trishani come on dear we have to open.", says Anshika and Trishani sighed looking at Drishti once who was sitting at a corner of the dressing room and left.
