🇮🇳CHAPTER TWENTY NINE~

It has been few days since both the Men and Women's team returned back to India as the New Zealand series was over.

But as soon as they came back to India somehow the media found out about Trishani and Laksh's relationship.

There were rumours about her and Shreyas from the Newzealand tour but that exceeded when this rumour came to notice.

Laksh didn't want his relationship with Trishani to come in the limelight because of his upcoming film hence he was absolutely gutted about this news. He even immediately came to Delhi to meet Trishani as well.

"Shani beta, niche ana Laksh aya hain!",Trishani's mother shouted as she came out of her room.

As soon as Trishani saw Laksh, she got scared because she knew he would blame her for everything. He already mistrusted her for the whole Shreyas matter.

"Tum yaha?", she asked looking at him.

"Kiyu expect nahi ki thi haina?", Laksh went to say in a harsh tone but checked his voice as her mother was there and said, " I was shooting in Delhi so thought of visiting you once. We haven't met since months. "

"Haan Haan bohot accha kiya. Aab toh beta sabko pata bhi chal gaya hain tum dono ke bare mein, toh tum dono abhi shaadi kyu nahi kar lete. At least engagement toh karke rakh hi sakte ho!", Trishani's mother, Suruchi said.

" Maa please don't start this now. Where is Dad?", Trishani asked as she knew the only person who could save her from Laksh was her father.

"He is in office ofcourse! Maine call kar diya hain unhe voh ajayenge jaldi tu jaa tab tak Laksh ko apne kamre mein toh leke jaa," Suruchi said to Trishani and then turned to Laksh and added, "Jaao beta thoda fresh ho jaao. I'll send something for you to eat."

Laksh nodded and looked at Trishani who sighed and walked towards her room while he followed.

As soon as they entered her room he grabbed Trishani's hand and said," How the hell this happened? I told you to be more careful Shani! "

" I don't know how this happened. Main khud pareshaan hu yeh soch ke ki media wale ko yeh sab bataya kisne!', Trishani said while trying to remove herself from his grip.

"Kahi aisa toh nahi tumne hi bata diya? You were the one who wanted to announce our relationship!",Laksh said.

" Yes but not like this.. I wanted you to tell everyone that you love me! I wanted to tell the world about our love because I was sick of this hide and seek but I didn't want it to happen like this!", Trishani said as Laksh chuckled saying, "Come on Trishani, Movie star mein hu aur filmy baatein tum kar rahi ho! Get out of your dream world. That is NOT how real life works!"

Trishani looked at Laksh and sighed remembering Shreyas's word which was completely opposite to this.

"So our relationship is out in the open now. Is it that bad?", she said looking at him.

" Yes it's that bad! You are not getting it, my whole career depends on this. Now no one's gonna believe that me and Shanaya are dating and there goes our biggest marketing strategy!", Laksh said.

"I might not know much about films but I know this much that if your movie is good enough, then it shouldn't depend on these silly promotional gimmicks, " Trishani said as Laksh glared at her.

"Do you want to say that my film isn't good enough? That I am not good enough? ", Laksh said and added with a chuckle, " Obviously I'm not good enough for you now.. Shreyas Iyer is.. Isn't it?"

"Don't pull him in these Laksh and I never said you are not good enough, " Trishani said.

"But you meant that.. Kahi aisa toh nahi voh Shreyas neh hi yeh sab viral kar diya. So that my career gets ruined and you can go to him!", said Laksh.
