🇮🇳CHAPTER THIRTY ONE~

It was the opening ceremony of the very first edition of Indian Cricket League. Everyone was very excited about this tournament as something like this has never happened in the history of cricket.

The Indians were excited to see all their favourite men and women player play together in a high voltage tournament.

The players were also excited,specially the girls were very much looking forward to play with their favourite players finally.

The opening ceremony was held at the Wankhede stadium that was to be followed by an all team dinner at the Trident Hotel.

All the players were present as the ceremony began with the team captains posing together with the cup after the BCCI secretary, Sourav Ganguly brought it in.

Drishti came and hugged Trishani from behind as she was talking to Ruturaj.

"Oye Thakur, dusri team ki hoke mujhe bhul na jaiyo!"she said as Trishani chuckled.

"Mujhe out kar diya naa tuneh toh dekh lungi tujhe!",she said as Ruturaj said with a chuckle,"you both are like Virat bhaiya and Mahi bhai in some levels. Excuse me girls!" he went to talk to some of his teammates while Drishti turned to Trishani and said, "Laksh nahi aya?"

"Voh kyu ayega yaha.. Pagal hain kya? He texted me saying you won't play with so many boys, naam withdraw karlo apna from ICL. I didn't reply, " said Trishani making Drishti chuckle, "Sabaash! Bohot accha kiya. Aab Iyer ko batayegi apni dil ki baat yaa muhurrat dekhe tere liye?"

"Batayungi infact aaj hi baat karna hain mujhe usse. I'm just looking for a perfect chance, " Trishani said and chuckled as Rishabh was coming towards them as she said, "Chal jaa tera Pant agaya. Dekh kaise dekh raha hain tujhe."

"Ruk main abhi ayi,"Drishti said and went towards Rishabh.

Trishani found Shreyas standing beside Virat at a distance. She smiled and waved at him as he waved back. Virat nudged him saying something as he chuckled and walked towards Trishani.

"Hey you're looking beautiful tonight, " he said and Trishani smiled and said, "Thank you! Vaise Virat mere bare mein kuch bol rahe theh kya?"

"Kab? Ohh.. Nahi kuch khaas nahi. Tumse baat karne ko bol rahe theh baas," Shreyas said as they sat on two chairs.

"Mujhe bhi tumse kuch baat karni hain, " Trishani said as Shreyas looked at her saying, "Haan batao naa."

Trishani nodded her head saying, "No yaha nahi. I'll talk to you later at the team dinner."

Shreyas frowned and said, "Come on yaar! Itna wait kaun karwata hain."

"Itni din toh wait kiya hi hain aur thoda karlo, " Trishani said while winking at him.

Shreyas looked at her with disbelief but as he went to say something he got interrupted by Rohit.

"Areh Trish chal udhar Sammy wants to meet you, " he said as Trishani nodded and walked away with him as Shreyas murmured by himself, "Yes everyone needs her now only. Naya naya nickname bhi deke rakha hain sabne, main kab dunga nickname issey!"

"Bohot jald!",Drishti said while keeping a hand on his shoulder, " Iyer! Tere pyar mein girh hi gayi lagta hain finally Thakur."

"Accept kab karegi?", asked Shreyas.

"Have some patience Iyer. She's not like you or Kharbanda for that matter. She takes time to open up to people and in this case it was complicated for her because she's in a toxic relationship with someone. It's hard for her to come out from there and accept you in her life," Rishabh said coming to them.
