"C-Clones na naman?!" one of them shouted after the announcement.

The rest of the players couldn't help but agree. Two cities na nga lang pero parang plano pa ng developers na tapusin sila emotionally and mentally. Why can't they just have a normal PVE city? Hindi iyong may trauma pang bonus?

"I think they're just recycling ideas at this point." Louise grumbled, leaning on the window. "But well, it's just clones. Mabilis lang naman silang mapatay 'gaya noong tenth city. And the gate is just right there. I think it'll be fairly easy."

"No. It's not just us and the clones. May isa pa tayong kalaban."

Right, there are the hunters that the voice mentioned earlier.

He glanced at Finn who was keeping quiet at the back. Nakaupo lang ito sa mesa habang nakatitig kay Wes, who was leaning on the board. Her feet dangled on the air and she was lightly kicking them from time to time. Parang batang naglalaro habang sila'y namomroblema na.

"What do you think, Wes?" Marcella asked the boy, after sensing Finn's unrelenting stare.

After staying with Finn for almost how many cities, medyo nama-master na nila ang micro-expressions nito. The way she's staring, alam nitong may plano na si Wes o kayang mag-isip ng plano.

"Hunters. Their goal is obvious. Just from their name, they're here to hunt. Let's all heavily assume that they're going to hunt us, the players. And since we have clones, they can mistake them for us. So, in a hierarchy," gumawa siya ng pyramid na nahahati sa tatlong sections. "The hunters at the top, making them the most dangerius. The clones are at the middle because they can be killed or can kill us. Then there's us, who can be everyone's prey or predator."

"We don't know what these hunters look like," dagdag ni Oliver. "So fighting or looking for them will be difficult."

"No."

A single, soft-spoken word from Finn had everyone looking back. Itinuro niya ang malaking gate ng eskwelahan.

"Hunters are there."

The thirty-nine players blinked, a little surprised at the confidence.

"T-There?"

"Sigurado ka?"

"Paano mo naman nalaman 'yon?"

The player's curiosity and unending questions made Finn step back. Their most dangerous rogue looked like a frightened doe that almost everyone felt guilty. Nakangisi namang lumapit si Kairo sa kaniya, dragging a chair backwards and plopping himself on it.

"Continue, kitten."

Finn stared at the guy. She's not sure if he's trying to make him comfortable, but it's not really working.

"Have to pass through to complete the city but they're not guarding it. Only means one thing. Hunters will intercept there."
