Splinter, April, and Jamie snuck into Shredder's lair, which looked as if no one was home. But then they were spotted by Bebop and Rocksteady.
"Hey, girls, who do you think opened that door for you?" Bebop smirked.
"Bad move, rat. Breaking in here, are you desperate or just fools?" Tigerclaw asked.
"We're not here to-" April said then exclaimed while dodging an attack, "Whoa!"
"You think we would come to take you on if the world was-" Jamie started then yelped while dodging a blast from Bebop.
"Ha! Is Rocksteady late for party time?" Rocksteady wondered.
"We have not come to fight you!" Splinter told them.
"Foolish move, bringing cubs here," Tigerclaw remarked.
Then he prepared to fire his ice gun at Splinter when ice shot at him, making him grunt in pain and drop his weapon.
"You're not the only one with ice, remember Pussy Cat?" Jamie smirked.
But then Rocksteady got April while Rahzar got Jamie.
"Help!" April hollered.
"Splinter!" Jamie shouted.
"April! Jamie!" Splinter yelled.
Just as the goons were about to make the final blow, someone stopped them.
"Stop!" Shredder commanded then guessed while drawing his weapon, "I wish to know why Hamato Yoshi has come here. Perhaps to end his miserable existence?"
"Our feud is meaningless in the face of this invasion, Saki. The world will soon be destroyed," Splinter pointed out, turned to Shredder, then asked, "Will you sit by and watch? Or will you help us save it?"
"What have you done with Karai?" Shredder demanded, pointing his weapon at Splinter's throat.
"We searched for her, but she is gone. Alive, but vanished from the city," Splinter answered sadly.
"You lie," Shredder growled, preparing to strike.
"He's telling the truth, Shredder. Karai's still out there somewhere. And if the Earth blows up, guess what? You'll never see her again. So maybe you can do the right thing for once in your evil life, even be a hero for a change, that is, if you still love Karai," April explained, held hostage by Rocksteady.
"So in other words, if there is any type of love in your cold, dead heart for her, now would be a good a time as any to prove it by stopping this invasion," Jamie added, being held hostage by Rahzar.
Shredder seemed to ponder this before sheathing his weapon and had the girls released. As they left, Jamie removed the ice from Tigerclaw's arm, making him nod as if to tell her "Not bad."
