Chapter 64: Karai's Gone?

Karai and Splinter continued when Splinter noticed the turtles were okay.

"Surrender, my daughter. You are defeated. My sons are free," Splinter said.

"I'll never surrender to you! Never!" Karai snapped then leapt over the edge.

"Miwa," Splinter called, but she was no where in sight.

He closed his eyes as he readied the healing hands.

"Rin, poh, toh, sha," he recited.

Karai appeared behind him and struck, but he dodged.

"Rin, poh, toh, sha," he continued as he evaded her attacks.

This went on for a minute before he started wrapping it up.

"Rin, poh, toh, shaaa!" Splinter remarked then got her to be still then told her, " I love you, Miwa."

He put his fingers on her head, but she jerked free and wrapped her tail around him. She started to constrict when she felt the healing hands starting to take effect. She squealed in pain as her snake arms wrapped around herself. She bumped into a button that caused the water to drain and went over the edge.

"Miwa!" Splinter shouted as he grabbed one of her snake arms.

He held onto her as tightly as he could, but she slipped and she went down the drain.

"No!" Splinter yelled, almost going after her, but April held him back.

Splinter watched in devastation as Karai was no where left to be seen. Then TigerClaw appeared with his jet pack.

"Your victory has come at a price, Yoshi-san," he smirked as he readied his laser gun.

He laughed evilly until the turtles threw a ninja star at his weapon, making him drop it. He growled as they and Jamie landed safely on the platform.

"Sensei!" Leo shouted.

"April!" Donnie added.

They got in defensive positions until TigerClaw left with an evil laugh.

"I trust that you are all unharmed," Splinter replied.

"Sensei? What happened?" Jamie asked.

"She forced me into combat, but the healing hands I used on her were meant to help her, not harm her. I fear that we will never see Miwa again," Splinter explained sadly.

"Never give up hope. That was the greatest lesson you taught me as a kid, Sensei," Leo assured.

Splinter looked at them as they all gave him reassuring smiles, which he returned.

"Come, let us go home," he said.

And that's what they did. Little did they know that Karai made it out and coughed up the brain worm that controlled her.
