"ahh now isn't this nice" Amy said as she peacefully sipped on some tea.
I tapped on the table irritatedly. Man why did I agree to this? This lovely friendship is magic crap is really not my style. Besides this chick has never shown interest in me before. Why now is she asking me out?
She noticed my annoyed expression and sighed "ok let's get down to business"
"business. Aww but we were having so much fun" I said sarcastically.
"hardy har" she rolled her eyes "I want to talk about sonic"
"Well I'm going to stop you right there because I don't want to talk about that stupid hedgehog anymore!" I folded my arms.
Amy smirked "you like him don't you?"
I felt my face heat up "n-no of c-corse not" I stuttered "why are you asking me this? Aren't you head over heels for him?"
"oh that was ages ago" Amy brushed it off "I'm dating shadow now"
"the edgelord!" I gasped.
"hey he's not a edgelord. He can be really sweet when he wants to be" Amy sighed as she looked at me "so when are you going to stop pretending?"
"excuse me?"
"come on now jet I'm not stupid" she placed her hands on her hips "I can see the sparks between you two. Sonic is too stubborn to confess but I at least have some faith in you. Your a smart guy"
"yeah you're right" I muttered to myself "I am a smart guy. So why am I acting so stupid?" I stood up suddenly "thanks amy but I gotta.. go do something" I took off running.
"uhh ok?" Amy muttered in confusion as I ran out the door.
I have no idea if this will work but I gotta try. Hiding away like a cowered is not my style!
