Sonics pov
"ok babe I'm up for a movie night. What about you" I smiled at my injuried husband.
"yeah sounds good" he yawned "anythings better than sitting around all day"
I kissed him on the cheek and grabbed the remote. After a lot of flicking through channels and arguing we finally settled on the umbrella academy.
"if we're going to watch a series together then we need snacks" jet demanded.
"ok ok I hear you Mr bossy" I sighed as I raced into the kitchen and filled the bowl with popcorn and sweets.
"awesome" he cheered as I came in with two bowls in my arms. I sat down and he nuzzled into my arm. I smiled at him. He's so cute!
After watching a few episodes together I felt a weight on my shoulder. I looked up to see jet had fallen asleep on me.
I sighed. Poor boy must have been really tired. I gently scooped him up in my arms and carried him to bed.
I tucked him in and lay next to him. I couldn't help but think of how perfect my life was. Sure I had less time to myself but I got to spend that time with the one I love and I'm enjoying every moment of it.
I hope things stay this way forever..
