Miras pov

"oh hi charcoal" I smiled at my little cousin "how's life treating you?"

"not so bad but I asked you first" he pointed out. I sighed. He's so sharp. Must take after uncle tails!

So I told him everything.

"I see" he nodded thoughtfully "I've had similar problems. I wanted to get enough money to pay for my own gasoline but they said they couldn't hire eight year olds. Can you believe it!"

"charcoal I think you might have a bit of a pyro problem" I muttered.

"but there's is nothing better than dancing flames!" he insisted.

I shook my head. I worry about that boy sometimes!

"hey guys" randall flew down and landed in front of us.

"hey randall" I waved at my friend.

"you know randall you look more and more like your mom every time I see you" charcoal smiled.

His face turned red "don't say that dude it's weird!" he yelled "anyway what are you guys up to?"

"oh nothing much. Just mira here's having a life crisis" charcoal said casually, earning a glare from me.

He took a seat next to me "still looking for your perpose huh?"

"yeah" I nodded.

He sighed "I don't get you. Why on earth would you be worried about something like that?"

"easy for you to say!" I folded my arms "you already have a perpose. Guarding that weird rock thingy on your island"

"it's called the master Emerald and I only gaurd it when dad's busy" I muttered "my point still stands! You need to learn to loosen up and have fun. Come on let's go visit that cafe place"

He grabbed my hand and dragged me away before I could protest. Oh well. Maybe I could use a distraction..
