- Chapter 32: (The Competitor)

- Haeun's POV:

As Ga-On looks down at me, I realize his face is getting closer and closer to mine as I widen my eyes.

'Why is he coming closer?!', I think as his face becomes centimeters away from mine.

I quickly close my eyes as I feel a bunch of weight come crashing down on me, making me open my eyes.

When I open my eyes, I see Ga-On's face right next to mine, as I feel his breaths hitting my neck.

"Ga-On?", I ask as I slightly turn my head to see his eyes are closed.

'Did he faint?!', I think as I remember that he was losing a lot of blood since the bandages weren't on him again, so I quickly struggle to sit up as Ga-On rests on my shoulder.

I then grab the bandage as I struggle to wrap it around him.

'I can't do this while he is asleep...', I think as I start to tap his shoulder.

"Ga-On... I can't do this if you're asleep. It's too hard, can you wake up?", I ask him as he hugs me tightly, making my heart skip a beat.

"Don't leave...", I hear him say as I realize that he is still asleep.

- Dam-i's POV:

I decided to go check on Haeun since she seemed really worried earlier.

As I reach her chambers, I immediately stop walking and widen my eyes as I see Ga-On hovering on top of Haeun.

'Oh my gosh! What did I just see?!', I think as I quickly turn around and zone out for a bit from the shock and embarrassment.

After a few minutes, I come back to my senses. I then turn back around, only to see Ga-On hugging Haeun.

"Don't leave me...", I hear Ga-On say as I quickly turn around and leave.

'What did I just see then too?! There is no way I am going in there!', I think as I spot Ji-Un.

"Your Royal Highness, I brought Yeong-Ji and Jil-Geum to help treat Ga-On while the medicine is being made.", Ji-Un says as I quickly stop them from walking.

"No! You can't go in there right now!", I exclaim as Ji-Un looks at me confused.

"Why not?", He asks me.

"Ummmmm, you just can't! Let's wait a little bit...", I say as Ji-Un nods in response.

'Not only will I be embarrassed, but they will be too if we walk in there! I didn't think Haeun and Ga-On actually liked eachother!!!!! But Haeun can't be with him... That's the Palace rules. And poor Haeun is stuck marrying that horrible Eunuch too! I have to do something about that before he takes my only sister away from me...', I think as I notice Ji-Un staring at me, making me feel butterflies in my stomach.

'No, Dam-i... You definitely cannot be with him...', I think as I mentally slap my face and turn away from Ji-Un.

I feel so warm and peaceful...
