This year's Games were the first ones ever recorded. These lasted a total of 9 hours. These were in the same Arena as last year. This would be the Arena for the next 8 years after these Games. This Victor's nickname was well deserved due to his personality and iconic alliance name that would be used for years to come. This year's Victor was also the first POC to win the Games. Many more would follow.
Reapings
The Reaping Ceremony in District 10 was rather quiet. As Mayor Roberts pulled out the first name, it was revealed to be that of 18 year old Gillian Walker, who cried and hugged her little brother, Jonathan. The next name chosen was 17 year old Lasso Goldenrod. His mother clung on to him and hugged him tight. As the pair shook hands, they were taken to the train.
In District 2, the Ceremony was much more intense with a crazy aura surrounding them. The people chosen were 16 year olds Priscilla Thomas and Thomas Jones. Priscilla began whimpering while Thomas stood there, hugging her and comforting her.
Games
As the 24 tributes stood on their podiums, they all looked at each other. As the gong sounded, the girl from 12 was killed by Ariel (4). As Priscilla attempted to hit the forcefield, her sword accidentally hit the girl from 1. As the boy from 1 was slashed across the throat by Thomas, the boy from 5 impaled both boys from 3 and 4. However, the boy from 5 was stabbed by Brinn (8) which sounded the last cannon of the bloodbath.
During the first hour, the girl from 5 was killed by Brinn who was seeming to be a top competitor so far.
As the second hour began, Brinn hunted down and killed the girl from 6.
At the third hour, Scytha (9) killed the boy from 11.
At the fourth hour, Scytha killed the girl from 7.
During the fifth hour, Lasso killed the boy from 12. During Hour 6, Thomas crept up on Lasso and killed him instantly. Lasso's family cried while mourning the loss of their son.
During the 7 o'clock hour, there was a lot more fighting. The girl from 11 was killed by Lavendero (8). Shortly after, Lavendero was killed by Ariel (4). Syrup (7) and Tire (6) killed each other in a fight right on the verge between the seventh and eighth hour.
During the eighth hour, Ariel got into a fight between Paul (9) and Pulse (3), killing both of them with her trident. At the final hour, Ariel, Priscilla and Brinn began fighting. Brinn killed Ariel as Priscilla committed suicide. Shortly afterwards, Thomas and Gillian stayed close as Gillian killed Brinn. However, before Brinn died, she managed to stab Gillian in the stomach. As Thomas cried, Gillian begged him to look after her brother who lived in District 9 and her little brother in District 10. He agreed and as her cannon sounded, it was announced that 16 year old Thomas Jones from District 2 was the Victor of the 2nd Hunger Games.
Aftermath
After winning, Thomas kept his promise of looking after his ally's brother (who lived in District 9) and her cousin who would both win a future Games. He would then create a dynasty of future tributes, producing multiple Victors over the years.
