Indy drove the jeep through the grass toward the barrow grave looming over the island. It was mostly rolling hills with an Arctic breeze, looking out over a cold and tossing ocean. Lonely. And the weather was getting worse as a thick icy fog moved across the mountains and valleys, bringing with it a chilling dampness, soaking through their parkas and other military cold weather gear.

He glanced at the child beside him. Seal Child was squished between him and Ross, and squirming - making him the warmest person on Attu. The boy looked up at Indy. "Can I shift the gears?"

"Sure," Indy put his left foot down on the clutch, as the boy took the gearshift and pushed it up. Indy still held the gearshift, making sure it went into the proper gear. The second gear settled, Indy released the clutch and asked, "You're pretty good at that. Want to drive?"

Ross looked terrified as the boy climbed from the middle seat to face the steering wheel... which he could barely see over.

"Relax, Ross," Indy smiled. "There's nothing he can hit out here." He looked at the boy. "Okay Seal Child, we're coming up on the ruin. I want you to slow down, and we're gonna drive around it, got it?"

"Yes, sir!" The little boy reached for the gearshift. Indy pressed the clutch and brake, as the child eased the gearshift back into first gear.

"Sir?" Indy looked at the child.

"Its what I gotta call everyone else. And its what they all call each other."

Indy chuckled. "Seal Child, you can call me Uncle Indy."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Thank you, Uncle Indy!"

"You're welcome, Seal Child."

Indy studied the ruin as Seal Child drove. "Its like Newgrange... tall, artificial mound, round with a stone edge to hold the mound in place. Ross, are the stones local?"

"We've never found anything similar," he replied.

"There are ships out there!" Seal Child cried. "There's never any ships out there!"

"Keep your eyes where you're going," Indy chided, glancing across the horizon.

"He's right," Ross paused. "I'll call it in when we stop. They won't be able to see them from Attu Station."

Seal Child guided the jeep further around the mound.

Indy hit the brakes.

Seal Child looked bewildered. "Uncle Indy, you didn't tell me -"

"Sorry, Seal Child - I got excited," Indy smiled, "See that dark spot in the ruin, facing the sea? That's how I'm going to get inside."
