"Dad, has Grandpa lost his mind?" Emily asked.

"No. He's always talked to his artifacts," Indy replied. "I grew up with it, and made a decision to only talk about them. With my luck, they'd probably answer back."

Shorty was silent. "Should we take him somewhere safe? You know... safe for old people?"

"No. The knight gave him guardianship over the Treasury," Indy answered. "I declined the offer."

"Maybe we should get him a pet," Emily paused. "He'd be less lonely."

"Trust me, Em. Grandpa's doing better here than he was when I was fifteen." Indy smiled. "Besides, that's the Mirror of Heaven - it knows where everything is. King Solomon owned it."

"Ah!" Professor Jones turned away from the ancient mirror and scrambled around, weaving through several piles of ancient artifacts. "That's where I put them! I knew I couldn't keep them in the same space as the Ark of the Covenant! Emmaline!"

"Yes, Grandpa?" Emily started through the treasury room, weaving past and around the piles of ancient artifacts.

"The swords, my dear girl!"

Emily paused, staring at the shining curved blades with solid jade handles. Each handle was carved into a different shape. "Grandpa..." She started to reach for them.

He moved them away. "I promised you exact instructions."

"Yes, Grandpa - you did."

"Emmaline, these are cursed blades. They open hell. They were given to several shaman ladies to protect the people from evil creatures, like apkallu. The apkallu were supposed to be good and just - but they were lying thieves and oppressors who wanted to enslave all of humanity! Do you have the Tapestry?"

"The... what...?"

"The Tapestry!"

Emily looked toward Indy. "I... didn't know there was one... that we needed...?"

Professor Henry Jones Senior stared at his son. "You still don't remember...!? After all these decades! Its a silk scroll you found in China! You were going to send it to me! But then the Nazis came and you split it into four pieces!"

"Uh-oh." Emily looked toward Indy.

Indy was grinning stupidly. "You mean... The Sidenstrasse Tapestry, Dad?"

"Yes! That's the one!"

Indy and Emily exchanged glances, giving each other the exact same plastered and casually mortified grin, thinking the exact same thing.

"Who's gonna tell Grandpa we burned it?"
