Long ago, an advanced race from the stars fled from their home planet to escape a powerful threat and settled on Earth.
This race of Ancients set up homes on multiple islands and things seemed to be going good for them.
Until one day, an odd star suddenly came and crashed down on one of the islands.
The Ancients were shocked to find a small Star-shaped Spaceship and went down to investigate.
Oddly enough, despite their extremely advanced technology, the Ancients just could not find a way to open the ship or even see what's inside.
The ship was taken to a research center for further study.
However, an event seemingly caused the extinction of the Ancients and all that was left of them were their tech.
The star-shaped ship was still in their research facility unopened...until now.
A man by the name of Dr Eggman had attempted to harness the Ancient's technology through a new AI unit named Sage and that did not end well as defense robots activated and Sage detecting a threat signature initiated a protection protocol and dragged the Doctor into Cyberspace.
Of course his arch nemesis and Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends came to investigate and this ended up with them getting sucked into a wormhole into cyberspace.
Sonic did manage to escape while his friends did not so now guided by a mysterious voice Sonic is on a journey to free his friends.
Meanwhile, that Star-shaped Ship suddenly opened and from it emerged you.
Turns out the ship was merely on a timer and would open eventually after many years.
Curious as to where you were you decided to explore the island.
You were immediately attacked by a group of strange mechanical beings with red neon lights.
Unfortunately for them you were a lot stronger than you looked and easily obliterated them.
You then discovered you had the ability to copy the Powers and aspects of Foes you touch.
During your exploration you found a pink Hedgehog girl named Amy trapped in an odd red orb.
She seemed distressed and so you decided to try and free her.
You meet Sonic and after a talk you and him decided to team up to find and free his friends.

Sage: Eggman's new artificial intelligence unit takes the form of a little girl and is working on a way to free the man she considers her father from cyberspace without putting his life at risk.
She immediately noticed your presence on the island and was shocked at the power you displayed.
Curious she appeared before you and tried to get information out of you.
Unfortunately she came up short as you were clueless about your own origins.
However she felt there was hope to save her father as you continued to prove your strength.
You both continued to talk and interact and pretty soon Sage began developing odd new feelings for you.
At first she brushed them off, but the more she interacts with you the more these feelings intensify.
Could a child of science truly fall in love with a child of the stars?
