FAMILY TIME

ELIORA'S POV

We sits around the dinner table and start the breakfast. But I can feel everyone's eyes on me but I didn't say anything

Alex is being feed by Adeline (Azriel's sis in law). She is a great mother, I can say it just by looking at her how she takes care of her daughter and my Alex

Aurora (Adeline's daughter) is trying her best to feed Alex  but Adeline is not letting her because she can hurt Alex

Suddenly I feel a hand on my left hand, as I look toward the hand I saw Azriel holding my left hand with his hand

I glare at him, because I'm still angry on him for calling me a shorty. I tried to take my hand away but his grip tighten on my hand as he just smile at me

“Eliora....” my dad says and I really that it's time to talk to them about everything

“Yes, dad” I reply without any hesitation as I look up to see everyone already looking at me

“Why....why didn't you say anything before” dad says with teary eyes

“I was not brave enough to tell you” I says while looking at Everyone in eyes

“You're really brave girl Eli” Azriel's dad says and give me a small smile

“That's what you thought uncle, but not me” I says as I take a bite from my breakfast

“You should at least talk to us, why were you suffering alone. Aren't we your family” my mom says as her tears roll down on cheeks

“You always say everything to your brother, even if you're hurt, why can't you tell us” mom says and try to look in my eyes but I didn't look at her

“I'm your mother Eli, I can't see my kids hurt, and that's what you were doing. Hurting yourself by handling alone everything” mom shout at me as she begins to cry

“That's the another reason I didn't tell you anything, because I can handle everything my own but I can't see you hurt” I said and look at her

“When you call us in the hospital telling us that Alexander and Catherine gets in accident, you can instead tell us the truth so we could help you but you didn't and just hide the truth behind their accident” mom shout again as Alex gets scared and started to cry

"Shhh baby Alex, everything is alright” Adeline try to calm him but Alex start to cry hard. I couldn't see anymore, I stand up and go take Alex in my arms

As I take Alex in my arms he stop crying, I wipe his tears and hug him. I again go to my seat and sit down with Alex in my lap

“Amelia please calm down, we're talking” Azriel's mom try to calm my mom

“This is my war mom, and I don't want anyone of you comes between my fight. That's why I didn't tell you anything” I says calmly because Alex is with me

“Eli, please stop all this, I already lost my one child. I don't want to lose you too” my dad says but I didn't reply to him immediately

“... dad, this game will end but after I killed Oscar with my hands, until then you can't stop me or this fight” I says and look directly in his eyes

“Why can't you understand me” dad says

“Because I lost my Brother and SIL because of Oscar and till I give him hundred deaths, I'll never be in peace” I says

“But your chief can handle Oscar, he will punish Oscar legally, why you” Azriel's dad says

“Sometimes legally privileged work is not enough to punish someone. And I'm also a highest rank General, so even if I kill Oscar, no one will questions me” I calmly said and give him a smile

I can feel the atmosphere tense. But I didn't say anything or they also didn't said anything

I feel a hand on my waist as I see Azriel hugging my waist with one day and smiling at me

His touch make me feel better and his smile ease my nervousness about my work

‘‘Ok..... Fine, as you already decided then I'll not stop you” dad says but pause before he continue

“But, always remember I don't want to lose you too, so everything you want but come home every day Safe and sound” dad said and I get up to hug him

He hug me and Alex with concern. And I can understand his concern and worries for me. He lose his adult son Infront of his eyes. So I cannot expect him not to worry about his only daughter

“I'm also your mother” mom said and sulk as we chuckles at her

“Come here mom” I pulled her into the hug as we have a family hug

“We're also here” Sofia and Isabella shout in excitement and hug us

“We're your brothers too” Sofia and Isabella's Brothers also join the hug

Everyone slowly join the hug and laugh at how big our hug is

After breakfast and some family time I take Alex to my room to do some work
