DEADLY MISSION

THIRD PERSON'S POV

In Evening, Eliora and baby came home with Azriel and his friends. They stepped inside the house and hall's lights were off.

"Mom?......is everyone home?" Azriel asked and wait for response but everything was silent.

"Eli, you wait and don't move. I'm turning back on the lights." Matteo said and turn on his phone flash light.

Suddenly lights on and everyone shouted. "WELCOME HOME MUMMA AND BABYGIRL!!"

Eli, Azriel, Aaron and Matteo flinch in surprise and baby started to wiggle in sleep.

"Shhh...baby is sleeping." Azriel quietly said and Patted the sleeping baby in his arms.

"Thank you everyone, it's so great." Eli says happily and walked towards her mom with the help of Aaron.

"I'm so happy for you." Her mom said and hug her. "You finally become a mother of a girl, now your daughter will steal your husband, just like you steal my husband." She added.

"Mom...Alex already stole my husband first. Azriel was in love with Alex first, before me." Eli looked at her mom with 'done' face.

"This is just the beginning, the full movie is yet to be seen." Her mom chuckled and patted her shoulder.

"Dad!!" Eli looked at her father with sad pout. He came and hugged her.

"No one will tease my daughter." He says. "Yeah, that's another thing that her husband is already stolen by her kids." He teased her.

Everyone looked towards Azriel, who is busy playing with Alex, baby and Aurora.

"Dad!! You too? Teasing me on my poor life!" Eli pouted and goes to Azriel's dad.

"My father only love me." She hugged him and show her tongue to her family.

"Yes, she's right. Don't dare to tease my daughter." Azriel's dad said and fake glare at everyone. Everyone laughed at the situation.

"So our Asteria Smith is finally home." Adeline took baby in her arms and looked at baby's face, a warm smile come on her Adeline's face.

"She's so beautiful. No matter how much you look at her, her beauty only increased at every glance." Adeline said and kissed baby's forehead.

"Give her to us too, we're also in line to meet our youngest girl." Isabella said. "Yes, after all we're her aunties." Sofia said proudly.

"Yeah, her trouble maker and annoying aunty." Aaron muttered but everyone heard him.

"At least not a iceberg like you." Sofia retort back and rolled her eyes.

"Okay, no fight today." Matteo and Isabella came in between them and stopped them.

"It's not use of fights, because you're forgetting that she's my daughter." Azriel said and give them a teasing smile.

"You!! Idiot, don't forget you stole my daughter so it's my time to steal your daughter." Joseph hits Azriel's head.

"Well, truths hurts." Azriel scoffed.

"Forget about them, princess, and come we'll celebrate our little princess's 'welcome party'." Azriel's dad said and took Eli to couch and make her sit.

Azriel, Joseph, Aaron, Matteo, Sofia and Isabella were busy in arguing, everyone sit down with popcorn and enjoy their drama.

Soon they calm down and decided to divide time between them to play with baby. Everyone enjoys the party till late night and play with kids.

After dinner, Azriel and Eli put Alex, Babygirl to bed as they already fell asleep. Eli went to take a shower and Azriel stays with kids.

Suddenly an alert message comes on Azriel's phone and he looked at it.
"Urgent mission!! Now!?" He muttered with frowned eyebrows.

"What's wrong?" Eli came and asked.

"It's a urgent mission...... I've to go." Azriel walked near her and held her shoulders.

"I told you about this mission before.....this mission is dangerous.... it's possible that I don't return back." He whispered softly and hugged her.

"We've to go in enemy's territory, surrounded by enemies." Azriel said but Eli only looked at him emotionless-ly.

"I'm Sorry....but we've to rescue the hostages, who is trapped with those enemies." He pressed his forehead on hers. His lips brushing on her lips as he said.

"Please.....say something." Azriel begged, his eyes filled with tears. Eli took a deep breathe and wrapped her arms around his waist and leaned on him, listening his heartbeats.

"Go." She said.

Two alphabet.

One word.

Two hearts.

One decision.

Two hearts broke.

"I know, just like me and babies.... those innocent kids, women, people is also important to you." She muttered pressing her ear near his heart.

"You joined this group because of me and Alex. But you also get attached to your work and rescuing the innocent people." She tighten her hold on him.

"I love you so much...but I can't hold you back from doing your responsibility. So go... I'm here." She says and tears fell down on her cheeks.

"And I believe that, you'll come back, for me and for our kids." She looked up at his face and saw his tears running down on his cheeks.

She wiped his tears gently and kissed his cheeks, forehead, nose and lips. "We've our whole life ahead of us and I'll support and stand by your side everytime." She added and smile softly.

"I'll come back." Azriel said and kissed her forehead. They hug eachother for sometime then he goes to meet with Alex and baby.

He kissed their foreheads and hug them gently. "Dada!?" Alex muttered in his sleep and hug Azriel.

"I love you both." Azriel kissed them on last time and got up from bed. He hugged Eli. "I love-" He whispered.

"No... don't say like a forever goodbye. You're coming back, that's it." Eli said stubbornly.

"...okay, as you say my lady." He hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead.

"Go, leave.....and come back quickly." She give him push and turn her back towards him, holding back her tears.

Azriel looked at her for sometime then took his bag and leave without turning back.

Maybe he knew that if he turned back then it will be impossible for him to leave. Leave his family.

As soon door closed, Eli turned and ran towards the door but stopped herself from opening the door. Tears escaped from her eyes and she slide down against the door, crying silently.

"Mumma!?" Alex woke up half asleep. Eli wiped her tears and went towards him.

"Y...yes, baby." She sit on bed and Alex looked at her face.

"Why are you crying!?" He asked and sit on her lap then wiped her tears.

"No, nothing. It's just something went in my eyes." She lied and hug him.

"Where's dada?" He asked looking for Azriel.

"He went for.....work." Eli said holding back her tears. "You should sleep, it's late."

"Okay, you also come and sleep." Alex pulled her on bed and lay down with her. Little baby on Eli's right side, Alex on left side and Eli in between.

"Mumma, can me, baby, you and dada go to amusement park next weekend?" Alex looked at her.

"...yes, baby, we'll go. Now sleep." Eli said and Alex obediently closed his eyes. He fall asleep quickly but Eli stays awake whole night.
