Scarlett stands in the doorway as I reach the door of the dressing room after getting ready to go out, she scans my outfit.
Me: Am I underdressed? I feel like I'm underdressed. Scarlett: You look gorgeous. Custom outfit made by Valentino? Me: You know it. They made it for me for our anniversary but you know. Anyway, thought I'd put it to better use. You look so beautiful, like really, really beautiful. Scarlett: Thank you. Ready to go? Car's waiting. Me: Mhm...oh! No wait!
I dash back into the dressing room and pull out a small box, handing it to Scarlett.
Me: I got it fixed quite a long time ago after it broke but it was mine. I was going to give it to you before we broke up. For you.
She smiles and takes the box, opening it to see my David Yurman ring that I had broken a while ago.

Scarlett: I wore this in a commercial I did for them, that's why you bought it. I remember. Me: It'll suit what you're wearing. You don't have to wear it, I just thought it would be nice.
She takes the ring from the box and places it on her first finger, the only one it'll fit on given her hands are so small in comparison to mine.
Me: You ready to get going? Scarlett: Let's do it.
We arrive at the restaurant and I head around to Scarlett's side to block the paparazzi while she gets out of the car, taking her hand and letting her get sorted before closing the door behind her.
