Chapter 16

A/N: When it mentions the blue eyes bit, I meant that Keefe's eyes are bluer than, for example, Fitz's eyes. If I was writing that letter from another character who had a different colour of eyes, I would've said that they had either teal or periwinkle eyes or whatever the colour of their eyes are instead. I also just can't be bothered editing that part, so I'm just writing this note instead.

"Soo, your secret admirer seen your letter and you think they'll tell you something about them?" Linh questioned.
"Worth a shot, isn't it?" Tam asked, shrugging.
The two of them made it to their lockers.
"Mmh, well I'm curious to see what they told you." Linh said.

Tam leaned in and licked the DNA strip. He raised his eyebrows.
"That's not so bad." Tam said, opening the locker.
"A little sour, but it's fine. Guess Elwin didn't pick the flavour this time."
Linh hummed as she licked the DNA strip of her locker.

Tam seen another envelope in his locker and he smiled as he took it. He opened it and quietly read it as Linh grabbed her books.

'Dear Tam,
                    I guess it seems unfair since I know who you are and quite a few things about you and you don't know one thing about me.

Well, prepare your mind to be blown.
One fact about me is that I am a dude. Biologically male. Bet you didn't expect that, huh?
Hope this doesn't change anything.

I'll let you in on a few more things.
I am a year older than you. I would say I can be a hopeless romantic sometimes, hopefully you agree.
Uhm... I have blue eyes.
I guess I can't tell you a lot otherwise you'd know who I am...

Just, be patient with me.

Hey, if you also don't like a guy being your secret admirer, just tape up another note or letter on your locker and I'll find it. I'll read it, so just let me know how you feel.

Tam stared at the letter.
"What's up?" Linh asked, seeing how Tam stared at the letter.
"My secret admirer... is a guy." Tam said, rereading that one specific paragraph.
Linh blinked.
"... Uh, are you into dudes?" Linh asked.
Tam bit his inner cheek.
"I-I don't know?" Tam shrugged, looking at Linh.
"He wants me to write him a letter to let him know if I'm okay with him being a guy?"

Linh seen the confused expression on Tam's face.
"Are you... worried it's some like random dude?" Linh asked.
"What do you mean?" Tam questioned.
"For example, if it were like Fitz-"Linh began.
" Hard no. "Tam said, looking at Linh.

" Dex? "Linh raised her eyebrows.
"... Cute dimples when he smiles but no. "Tam responded.
"Keefe... ~?" Linh said.
Tam stayed silent.
Linh gasped and Tam's cheeks turned red.
"Oh my god!! You like K-" Linh began.

"Who does Bangs Boy like?"
Linh and Tam both yelped.
They both turned around to see Keefe and Fitz there.
"No one!" Tam exclaimed, face extremely red.
"A guy!" Linh exclaimed.
"Linh!" Tam scowled, glaring at his sister.

Keefe raised his eyebrows and Fitz stared at Tam.
"A guy?" Fitz questioned.
"Maybe." Tam said, shrugging.
"Have something to say about it?"
Fitz held his hands up in defense. "No, no. I support the gays."
"Is one of the gays." Keefe coughed under his breath.
Fitz glared at Keefe and Keefe smiled at Fitz.

"What about you Sencen, huh?" Tam hissed.
Keefe looked at Tam.
"Uh, I'm fine with gay people." Keefe said.
"Though if I act like an asshole to you, you cannot say that it's homophobic to me."
"... Fuck, now I wanna do that." Tam said.
"Thanks for the idea."
Keefe rolled his eyes. "Oh god..."
