Keefe stood outside the doors of Everglen, waiting for Fitz or Biana to come and open up the door to greet him.
It took a few minutes for the door to open and Keefe looked to see Fitz smiling at him.
"That was quicker than I expected, everyone else is in here." Fitz said.
"Everyone is here already?" Keefe questioned as he entered the house.
"Yeah, Dex was adjusting some things while Linh, Tam and Sophie were just getting ready to come here." Fitz said, shutting the door.
"Soo..you gonna tell me how your exam went?"

Keefe looked at Fitz who stared at him with a mix of emotions.
"...I'll let you all know what I got when we get to, I'm assuming, the living room." Keefe stated.
"Awh, but I'm your best friend!" Fitz frowned.
"And Tam is my boyfriend." Keefe looked at Fitz.
"And plus he seemed more interested in my exam and more worried than you did, soo~"
"Hey, I had my own exam to worry about!" Fitz exclaimed.
Keefe smiled at Fitz. "That is no excuse!!"
Fitz rolled his eyes as Keefe wrapped his arm around his shoulder as they made their way towards the small celebration in the living room.

As soon as Fitz and Keefe entered, everyone looked over at them.
"Heyy! Keefe!" Biana grinned.
"How'd the talk with Magnate Leto go?"
Keefe unwrapped his arm from Fitz as he felt everyone's eyes now just on him. Keefe only locked eyes with Tam though. Tam was staring at Keefe, looking nervous about what Keefe would say.
"It looks like I need to start taking my studies more seriously in the Golden Tower next year~!" Keefe exclaimed.
"You're doing your Elite levels?!" Tam exclaimed, quickly going over to Keefe.
Keefe smiled as he rested his hands around Tam's waist as Tam cupped his face.
"I'm doing my Elite levels." Keefe smiled, nodding.

Keefe was about to look over at everyone else but he was caught by surprise as Tam pulled him in and pressed their lips together.
Keefe blinked for a moment before his eyes shut, smiling as he kissed Tam back, wrapping his arms around Tam and pulling him closer.
"Oh and they're making out..." Sophie mumbled, looking away.
"Ugh, in front of me? Gross." Linh whined, covering her eyes.
Biana whistled, grinning slightly. "Get it Tam!"
Fitz looked at Dex.
"Why didn't you kiss me like that when you found out?" Fitz frowned.
Dex rolled his eyes at his boyfriend.
"Maybe because I'd rather kiss you in private?" Dex shrugged.
"Unlike...some people apparently."

Tam grumbled as he pulled away, glancing back at everyone. Keefe felt a little disappointed Tam had broken up the kiss.
"Alright guys, you don't like it, just don't look." Tam stated, taking his hands away from Keefe and escaping his boyfriend's grasp.
"I don't like how bold you've gotten with your physical displays of affection with Keefe." Linh stated, looking back at her brother.
"I'm sorry I'm comfortable kissing Keefe whenever I deem appropriate?" Tam shrugged.
"Yeah, you should be." Sophie said, looking at Tam.
Tam looked at Sophie and raised his eyebrows.
Keefe quickly wrapped his arms around Tam and held him close to him.
"Awh, come on guys! Let's get this party started! Fitz and I are doing our Elite Levels!" Keefe exclaimed, feeling the annoyed emotions radiating from Tam.

Tam glanced at Keefe and Keefe smiled at him.
"You need to relax." Keefe whispered at Tam.
"I'm not relaxing just because you told me-" Tam began.
Keefe began to softly kiss Tam's cheek, peppering his face with gentle quick kisses.
Tam felt his cheeks warm up and he gently shoved Keefe's face away, causing Keefe to giggle.
"I hate you." Tam said.
"Mmh, your emotions tell me otherwise." Keefe said with a grin.
"...I hate Empaths." Tam sighed, looking away from Keefe.
Keefe laughed as he unwrapped his arms from Tam.

Keefe looked over to see Dex and Biana messing around with Sophie's iPod. Even though Dex had tinkered with it a while ago, it still had the music Sophie used to listen to and they were looking through the songs and deciding which one sounded good.
Dex and Biana seemed to find some songs and they put them on. The volume was reasonable, it wasn't going to make you deaf nor was it too quiet.
Keefe took Tam's hand.
"What if we dance, my dear?" Keefe asked, smiling at Tam.
Tam rolled his eyes.
"Keefe, this isn't even a slow song and plus Dex and Fitz aren't danci-" Tam began.
"Dexx! It seems Tam wants us to dance together~!" Fitz exclaimed as he went over to Dex and took his hand.
Dex's cheeks turned red and Tam bit his inner cheek, scoffing as he saw the smug look on Keefe's face.
"I can't dance so-" Tam attempted to make another excuse.
"Then I'll teach you." Keefe said.
"Hand on my shoulder."
Tam did as Keefe said and Keefe rested his hand on Tam's waist, pulling him closer.
Keefe quietly mumbled the steps and the pace to Tam, both of them slow-dancing together as Fitz and Dex also danced.

"Biana, let's dance!" Linh exclaimed, looking at Biana.
Biana was slightly surprised.
"What about Sophie?" Biana asked.
"I'm fine, I suck at dancing anyways." Sophie said, going over to the couch and sitting down on it.
Biana looked at Linh and Linh smiled.
"The gays are dancing and I will steal my brother for a dance at some point too, but for now, let us girls have a little fun too!" Linh exclaimed as she took Biana's hand into hers.
Biana smiled as she and Linh took a moment to get into the right positions and began to slow dance with one another as well.
Though they had a bit more fun with it as Linh would spin Biana and Biana would attempt to spin Linh as well.

Tam kept looking at his feet as he and Keefe danced. He felt nervous, he didn't want to step on Keefe's feet and he really hadn't danced like this with someone.
"Hey, my eyes are up here Song." Keefe said softly.
Tam looked up at Keefe.
"Do you want me to step on your feet?" Tam asked.
"...Not really, but I don't care if you do." Keefe said, smiling at Tam.
Tam couldn't stop himself from smiling back.
"Oh really?" Tam raised his eyebrows.
"Really-" Keefe began.
Tam, being the genius that he is, stomped onto Keefe's foot, causing Keefe to yelp in pain.
"Gah-! Not on purpose!" Keefe whined, frowning at Tam.
Tam laughed as he reached up and pecked Keefe's cheek.
"Haha, should have clarified that earlier then." Tam said with a grin.

"...I really have had a bad influence on you."
"Nah, Linh will tell you that I've always been this way. I'm just getting very comfortable in showing my true self towards you, Sencen, and that was your mistake for making the decision to date me."
"Awh man..."

*****

Keefe smiled as he sat on the couch, his arm stretched out as he watched his friends and boyfriend dancing like idiots.
Linh had stolen Tam away and Sophie changed the music to something more upbeat and something everyone could dance to. Biana was dancing with Sophie while Fitz and Dex were dancing. Fitz's dance moves were...questionable and Dex couldn't stop laughing at his boyfriend.
Linh was forcing Tam to dance, taking his hands and spinning him around, which made him laugh. Keefe's gaze was mostly fixated on Tam and how happy he seemed.

After a few moments, Sophie had seemed to get a little tired and made her way to the couch next to Keefe. Biana went ahead and approached Linh and Tam. Biana joined in with Linh's shenanigans and forced Tam to dance with her too, she also attempted to spin Tam around.
As soon as Sophie sat down next to Keefe, Keefe placed his arms by his side, his hands resting on his lap.
"Mmh, I am a little embarrassed for Fitz." Sophie said, looking in the direction of Fitz and Dex.
Keefe couldn't help but smile.
"His dancing has always been questionable and dorky." Keefe stated.
"Maybe it was a curse for being my friend since we were kids."
Sophie rolled her eyes.
"Ha-ha." Sophie looked at Keefe.

The two of them locked eyes.
Keefe looked away, shifting in his seat. Sophie frowned and she let out a sigh.
"It's been over a year, Keefe." Sophie stated.
"I've apologised and when I think we'll have a nice civil conversation, you seem to get all awkward. Even Tam gets irritated with me easily."
Keefe's eyebrows furrowed as he took a deep breath.
"It takes a while for some people to forgive someone for...acting like, no offense, an asshole." Keefe stated, looking at Sophie.
"Tam forgave you for that prank quickly though, didn't he?" Sophie questioned, looking back at Keefe.

Keefe's chest grew heavier and he clicked his tongue.
"Even though Tam went on a few dates with me, we got together and even though we have been together for over a year now, I know he's still, well, healing from how he felt from my 'prank'." Keefe said.
"Sometimes...sometimes he messages me at night, sometimes hails me, because he's either had a nightmare or is just in a vulnerable state and he brings that up, you think I don't feel guilty or bad that he still isn't over that?"
Sophie stayed silent as she fiddled with her hands.

"...Congrats on passing the exam." Sophie said quietly as she got up.
Keefe looked at her and Sophie went over to where her iPod was set, picking it up and turning off the music, causing everyone to look at her confused.
"Uh, Soph, everything okay?" Biana asked as she went over to the blonde female.
"I realized Grady and Edaline need me back home sort of early." Sophie smiled at Biana.
"Sorry to ruin the fun."
Sophie walked off, leaving the living room. Biana sort of followed behind Sophie, a little worried and concerned. Dex followed behind Biana.

Fitz, Linh and Tam looked at Keefe.
"...What'd you say?" Tam asked, going over to Keefe and sitting down next to him.
Keefe sighed. "The truth."
"That explains nothing." Linh stated.
Keefe shook his head.
"It's...it's nothing." Keefe said.
"I think I'll head home too."
Keefe got up and Tam gently took Keefe's hand before he walked off.
"Hey." Tam frowned.
Keefe glanced back at Tam. Keefe could feel the worry and concern coming from Tam.
"I'm fine-" Keefe began.
"First of all, that's bullshit." Tam said softly as he got up.
"Second of all, I'm coming with you so we can talk and you can tell me what happened."
Tam interlocked their hands and Keefe couldn't help but smile.

"Keefe, remember you can talk to us as well about anything-" Fitz began.
"Eh, relax Fitzy." Keefe said, grinning at Fitz.
"Have fun with your boyfriend. Congrats on passing the exam."
Fitz smiled slightly. "Thanks, and you too, Keefster."
"Linh, I'll let you know when I'll go back home." Tam said, looking at Linh.
"Mmh...update me about how things go with this dork too." Linh said, looking at Keefe.
"...Dork?" Keefe mumbled, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion at Linh.
"Mmhmm, c'mon Keefe." Tam said, squeezing Keefe's hand.
Keefe dug in his pocket for his crystal back to the Shores of Solace and pulled it out.
Fitz and Linh watched as Keefe light-leapt away along with Tam.

"Awh, wait why'd they leave?"
Fitz and Linh looked back to see Biana and Dex.
"They needed some privacy." Fitz said, answering Biana's question.
Dex's eyebrows shot up.
"Privacy...for what?" Dex questioned.
Linh scowled. "Dex! They're just gonna talk!"
"Gonna do a whole lot more than talking-" Biana mumbled.
"Biana!" Linh wailed.
"Stopp! Gross!"

Dex and Biana began to giggle and Fitz rolled his eyes as he went over to Dex.
"Mmh... c'mon. We're gonna chill in my room now." Fitz said, taking Dex's hand.
"Ooh, to 'talk' like Keefe and Tam?" Dex grinned.
Fitz couldn't help but grin as he looked at Dex.
"I mean, if you're offering-" Fitz began, causing Dex's face to turn completely red.
"Oh gross! You two aren't doing anything!" Biana scowled.
"See? It's not so fun hearing about your brother and their boyfriend doing stuff, huh?" Linh huffed.
"We're not doing anything of that sort!" Dex exclaimed.
"Not yet~!" Fitz exclaimed.
"Fitz!" Dex scowled.
