"Oh God, why am I feeling so nervous? I mean, it's not like I'll be out there; I'll be in here most of the time, baking and cooking meals. So why do I feel like I'm getting stage fright for some reason?" Y/N paced back and forth in the kitchen, her anxiety palpable as she continued to rub her hands together. Meanwhile, I struggled to tie my blue tie around my neck, trying to focus on her ramblings.

"I mean, sure, I've been baking practically my whole life, but what if other people don't like it? Or, worse, what if they don't like the plating design? I want to do well for Aphmau; she worked so hard for this business to open. I just can't believe today's the day."

"Look, Y/N," I interrupted my tie-tying efforts and walked over to her, gently taking both of her hands to get her attention. She stopped pacing and focused on me. "You work hard every single day. You've even sacrificed most of your free time to make sure Aphmau's grand opening becomes a success. You've double-checked the menu, ensured all the photos are just right, set the prices, and made sure all the ingredients are perfect. Every day, you find a new way to make me proud. So, just breathe with me, alright? Everything's going to be alright," I reassured her with a soft tone and a smile.

"You're right," Y/N chuckled as she started helping me with my uniform. "When did we switch personalities all of a sudden?" She teased, and I playfully flipped my hair, offering a smirk.

"What can I say? I'm pretty grown-up myself," I laughed a bit before becoming more serious and tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Besides, I learned from the best after all." I gently placed my hand on her cheek, and she leaned into it, smiling lovingly. These were the moments I wanted to treasure, moments where I just wanted to pause time and admire our time together.

"Come on, lovebirds, Aphmau is about to make her speech," Laurence peeked out from the door, motioning for us to join him. We nodded and followed him.

With Y/N finishing up my collar and dusting off my tuxedo, she asked, "Alright, handsome, are you ready?"

"If you're ready," I replied, taking her hand as I led her backward towards the doors leading outside. "I'm always ready, and I promise you'll do great."

Aphmau stood confidently at the podium, dressed in a purple-themed French maid outfit with accidental wolf ears and tails, thanks to Lucinda's work.

"Hi! Um, uh... M-my name is A-Aphmau...!" She stuttered, clearly nervous about the situation.

"What!?" a guy with a red bandana tied around his head yelled out.

"MY NAME IS APHMAU, AND THIS IS A NEW MAID CAFE IN TOWN!" she yelled, her voice steadier this time as she cleared her throat. "Now, welcome to the new..."
