「 CHAPTER 4, Pg. 8」

Somewhere in the deep dark... Y/N's POV;

Darkness enveloped me, like a heavy, suffocating cloak that pressed in from all sides. I stood there, disoriented and frightened, the only sound my echoing footsteps that felt as though I were treading upon shallow puddles, their muted splashes echoing through the abyss. The inky blackness stretched out endlessly in every direction, leaving me with no point of reference. Panic surged within me, and I instinctively hugged myself tight as my eyes strained to adjust to this sudden and profound absence of light.

"Someone... please..." I whispered, my voice quivering in the void as I continued to search for any semblance of a way out. My words seemed to hang in the air, a desperate plea lost in the empty space.

"You're not going to find a way out, you know?" A small, delicate voice suddenly whispered from behind me. I spun around in surprise, my heart pounding. A soft, purple glow began to emanate, gradually illuminating the mysterious presence that had addressed me. I squinted, trying to shield my eyes from the initial brilliance, which was slowly dimming, revealing a delicate, crystal-designed purple butterfly.

The butterfly fluttered gently around my head, its wings shimmering in the eerie light. It spoke with a surreal, ethereal quality, as though the darkness itself had given it voice. "Unless your friends are smart enough to figure out how to break the spell, I'm afraid you're stuck here..." it explained before landing gracefully on top of my head.

The realization of my predicament sank in as I absorbed the butterfly's cryptic words. The darkness that surrounded me was more than just a physical absence of light; it was a potent enchantment, a spell that had ensnared me in this eerie realm. My mind raced with questions, but my desperation overshadowed them all.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked, my voice still hushed with the desperation of one who clings to any shred of hope. The butterfly, its iridescent wings casting a soft, purple glow upon my face, seemed to consider its response, as if deciding how much to reveal.

The mysterious butterfly, its wings pulsating with an ethereal light, continued to reveal the enigma that surrounded me in this strange, dark void.

"This place is the Void," it began, its voice resonating with both sadness and intrigue. "I can give you the privilege to look through the eyes of your body, though it's not yours anymore. It's been taken over by the one that had you under their control."
