My life on crack at 2 am

october 28 + october 29 2023

so i didnt write yesterday so here we go

I went to the high school's haunted house and it was scarier than i expected (then again I am a big baby because there was like a child abt 7 years old in front of me and bro was just chilling)

tickets were 15 dollars per person, which was 45 dollars for me, my dad, and my brother (because my brother might be scared because he is still in elementary school)

the high schoolers got like actual people to dress up as ghosts and scream and stuff in the cafeteria with strobe lights and stuff

so first there were to girls playing avocado (i think) while screaming which was mildly offputting

but then there were a bunch of jumpscares which was scary because again I am not... great with horror

it was loud so I plugged my ears with my fingers but it was still scary

anyway good thing I barely dream anymore because I slept normally

I don't really have nightmares anymore and the mildly scary dreams are also goofy as hell

for example one night about a month ago I had this goofy ah dream about school but in space or something?????? idk

one time 2 years ago I had a dream that i was in my 4th grade class doing ST math but irl on a green 3d green grass thing like in st math

anyway today i went hiking

and i bonked my knee on a rock

and for some reason that was enough for it to bleed

soooo yeah

we might go to this practice thing for karate because the karate teacher wants us to do a demonstration at the grand opening of an Okinawa cultural center which sounds cool and also it's a new place for classes

I want to go for the prizes and candy from Okinawa because that sounds cool but i don't want to demonstrate which might be a problem

even if we did demonstrate we're supposed to be able to break wooden boards so that's what the practice is for except I am exceptionally lazy and also it takes place at 6pm which messes up the laundry schedule because I need to wear something there right

the two 8yo children at the hiking were very annoying because my tolerance of tiny children is mostly used up on my brother, and I probably have anger issues

bro they got fricking sticks and started whacking the trail, the sand, the rocks to find "diamonds" the adults found it amusing but I am not an adult, but also neither am I a tiny child that finds games like these fun.

one of the tiny children said "do you know the worst part about middle school and high school? no recess."

now that is wrong because in our school district public middle schools are required to have recess, which is why we have recess.

but also as you grow up, the need for playgrounds kinda goes down, mostly because they don't make playgrounds for older people, which is disappointing because I rather like swings, but I am now too large/thicc for them (thighs ugh)

anyway I do not like that particular child because he cannot pronounce his "r"s

but my brother cannot pronounce his "th"s

i am wondering what they have been learning in school
