Finally, he is alone. He is not really alone, but he can count that as being alone. Ice, at last, has had the time to organize his thoughts for the past twenty-four hours after the attack. He would prefer to sit down, but he doesn't have the time to do it, so standing it is.
They almost get taken as prisoners. The gall of them trying to do that is remarkable after dodging bombardments from Gempa and Blaze. The help of Taufan unpredictability savedly evacuated them. Taufan did cover them in half of Beliung State, a testament to his responsibility as the second eldest.
His brother is probably still afraid. He bet the ever-cheerfull brother of his still traumatizes the event after using his third-tier power, and so does he.
Ice did have the power of Blizzard under his hand, but somehow it feels so wrong to use it on that battlefield, as if telling him they will be trapped further in a fight that they will surely lose.
Surprisingly crashing on T.A.P.O.P.S. and rushing Solar to med, did Gempa snapped. That event is out of Ice prediction. His third brother pours his frustration on the current eldest, whose entire demeanor might as well crumble under the pressure of his responsibility to protect.
Ice watch the third brother power spiked up, which is not a good thing. Ice just want to take a breather and maybe a short nap if that possible. But he can't. He needs to be reasonable in this bunch of uncontrollable emotions surrounding his brother.
So the quick solution is to knock out his brother, and he firmly told the others not to ever think about doing the same thing unless they wanted to be frozen.
Ice took that chance to flee to his next destination, their youngest condition. He was just barely able to calm down Thorn's breakdown when he got news that he needed to attend another activity on his to-not-do list.
By the time Ice entered the room, his shoulder shagged.
"What a mess..."
Everything is messed up, and he is tired. Ice resigned himself to doing this. He had to be delicate and extra careful with this assignment.
"Your face is still as detestable as always."
He says this to no particular person, or perhaps he is in need of company. He is a person who never acknowledges melancholy, and yet for this moment, his stoic, frozen face melts in a way that Ice never knows.
"Maybe you look like that because of how upset Gempa is or the burden Taufan carries." Ice has never loathed anything in his life, errrr scrath that. He hates the monkey alien and that double-faced woman, but he hates this more than anything.
"Solar survive if that could melt away your worry."
Ice wished by saying that the room would become a bit warmer.
"Don't worry, we will get you back."
After all, freezing the body of your own brother is not what Ice wanted to do in his life.
