Wriothesley's POV

 This was the last straw.

This time the whole page crumpled in my hand and I couldn't find it in myself to care.

I really need something to vent my frustration on before I break something.

 And just on cue...

 My phone started buzzing

Whoever this is they called at the wrong time.

I answered the call without looking at the caller ID.

A horrible move I realized just a second later.

 Especially since...

I didn't bring my phone downstairs.

 ...

 This is not my phone.

 F*ck.

 This is Neuvillette's phone!

He left it on the table when he ran off.

 "Hello?" A familiar voice sounded.

I quickly took a glance at the screen to look at the name.

 Baizhu.

 His doctor then.

 ...

Well, that makes this extra awkward.

 "Hello-"

"You're not Neuvillette." My words were interrupted in an instant.

"No, I'm Wriothesley. His... friend. I answered the call by accident. My apologies."

 "Ah... The not-yet-boyfriend."

 "Excuse me?"

 The what?

"I misspoke. Never mind that. Could you give the phone to Neuvillette, please? I've run into a bit of a problem I want to inform him about."

 Well...

"He went upstairs to shower. I can check if he's out or not." I offered.

"That would be great. Just have him call me back as soon as possible."

 "Alright."

As soon as the call ended I let out a breath of relief.

 Phew!

I really should learn from my mistakes and check the caller ID.

Last time this happened I ended up threatening Neuvillette by accident.

I took another deep breath before getting up.

Since I told him I would, I should see how Neuvillette is doing.

I should check on Sigewinne as well. Since she has yet to storm down the stairs she's probably still asleep.

I walked up the stairs to-

 What the...

I walked up the stairs to see an unexpected sight.

Neuvillette was sitting on a pillow in the middle of the hallway.

 He probably finished showering already.

His clothes were different, now wearing a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie that was more than just a size too big. His hair was put up in a loose bun that was threatening to fall with the slightest of movements.
