Martin's P.O.V.

I gave love a try a long time ago and it nearly ruined me.

I swore I'd never let anyone into my life again.

I was doing so perfectly fine until she came into my life, proving to me that whatever I called life before was a very pathetic, shitty version of what life looked like.

She was the reason why my hands were shaking like leaves as I watched the lock twist and the doorknob twist before the door opened, revealing her.

My angel in red.

As I gazed upon my Regina, the object of my deepest affection, I marvelled at the breathtaking sight before me.

Standing at a graceful 5'8", her curvaceous silhouette was a testament to the allure of natural beauty. The canvas of her fair, soft, and dewy skin beckoned to be touched, and I revelled in the knowledge that I was privileged to kiss it every single night.

Her face, a vision of perfection, captured my heart anew with each glance. There was an indescribable beauty in the way her features harmonized, creating a symphony of loveliness that I yearned to admire every waking moment. Cascading down her back were bright red, silky curls that framed her face like a halo, bouncing with an irresistible vitality.

Her eyes, two huge mesmerising emeralds, held an enchanting power. Each time our gaze met, my breath caught in my chest as I succumbed to the magnetic pull of those shining orbs. They held secrets and depths that I longed to explore, a captivating allure that never failed to leave me spellbound.

Today was our very first anniversary and she dressed to kill me.

The red silk dress she adorned accentuated every curve with a flawless embrace, showcasing the body I adored and worshipped with a devotion akin to reverence. The fabric moved with her, a dance of elegance that left an indelible mark on my senses. Her every step seemed choreographed to perfection, a sensual ballet that stirred a symphony of desire within me.

As she gracefully moved, the classic Louboutin heels adorned her feet, adding an extra layer of allure to her stature. The golden Cartier jewellery, a birthday gift from my heart to hers, adorned her with a subtle elegance that complemented her beauty rather than overshadowing it.

Regina, in that moment, embodied an enticing, breathtaking deity. Every inch of her being was a testament to a divine craftsmanship that left me in awe. She was not just a woman; she was the only one I desired above all else. In her presence, I found my devotion, my admiration, and an unwavering love that made her the only deity in the shrine of my heart.

Her bright green eyes looked around as she approached me until, at last, she looked at me, so fucking flawless and breathtaking that I couldn't breathe.

"Martie, where are we?"- Regina asked softly, her small hands shaking when I cradled them in mine and brought them up to my lips to kiss them.

"Our new home."- I barely whispered, overwhelmed by the vulnerability that stirred within me.

"Our new home."- she repeated my words, her breathing fluttering as I laid more kisses on her dainty hands and nodded subtly.

"A copy of everything you had on your Pinterest board: from the colour of the tile in the bathroom to the flower pots in every room."- I said like a love-sick teenage boy as I leaned my forehead on hers.

"A perfect home for us to start a new chapter of our lives."- I finally said the words that I had been summing the courage for all these days.

"Martie."- Regina whispered with tears in her eyes, but I kissed her softly, needing her to hear me out.
