'It's better, it still hurts sometimes, but I'm fine, really.'

'When was the last time you ever ate?'

He looked up sheepishly, 'I can't remember.'

Savannah sighed.

'Stay there, okay? I need to make you something to eat.'

'I can make something myself.'

'Yes, you can. The thing is, you don't. So I will.'

'I'm not hungry.'

'I don't believe that. Even if you weren't, I'll blackmail you into it anyway.'

'Fine. But while I eat, you need to tell me more about yourself.'

'More?'

'Yes.'

'Fine.'
