At the beach

Peter's favourite place to be was at the beach, he just found it extremely peaceful.
It was the place he went if he just needed to get away, if he needed an hour to himself, or if he just needed to relax.
He loved the sound of the waves and the feel of the sand between his fingers, just sitting there staring at the horizon, taking it all in.
It was his safe space, and he didn't know how he had coped living in London with no beach, because that's where he spent every day in Narnia.
Each morning he tried taking a walk across the sand, just to prepare him for the day ahead and clear his mind.
Of course there were days when he didn't have time, but when he could he definitely did, knowing that walked helped him probably a lot more than he realised.
