"Seriously Ed, grow up." Peter snapped.
Edmund just scoffed. "You first." He hissed.
Peter sighed. "This isn't you and I don't know what's gotten into you recently but it has got to stop." He said firmly. "I'm not gonna put up with this behaviour for much longer."
"What are you gonna do?" Edmund laughed bitterly. "You're not Dad Peter, and you're not Mum neither so stop trying to be!"
Peter stared at him. "I'm not trying to be dad-"
"Yes you are!" Edmund cut him off, pointing a finger straight at his brother. "You are trying to act like Dad, but just because he's not here that doesn't put you in charge."
"He told me to look after you all-"
"You're not looking after us." Edmund spat. "You're making my life miserable so just leave me alone."
Peter swallowed hard, before shaking his head. "Fine," He whispered. "But one day you'll see that I was only trying to help, because whether you believe it or not I care for you, and I made a promise to Dad when he left - I'm not breaking that promise."
"Yeah of course you're not." Edmund muttered sarcastically, before leaving the room and slamming the door shut behind him.
