By the fire

It was a chilly winters night, but none of the four really minded being outside, curled up by the fire, watching the stars.
It had been Peter's idea actually, after all no one liked watching the stars more than he did, and the others knew it.
Edmund had of course requested that if they were going to camp out that they at least brought marshmallows to toast on the fire, and everyone was more than up for that idea.
Susan had supplied hot chocolate and made sure everyone wrapped up warmly enough, with plenty of blankets.
Lucy had made a cake that she was very proud of and insisted on bringing along, so all in all they were all very warm and very well fed.
They all found it nice to be able to do things together, it didn't happen too often because they were all so busy so they made the most of it when chances popped up.
And they most definitely made the most of that night.
