December 10th
A world of pure imagination

"Can I tell you a story tonight?"

Peter smiled a little. "You wanna read me a story?" He asked.

Lucy shook her head. "Not read you one, tell you one." She corrected her brother. "I've made one up."

Peter chuckled. "Have you now?" He asked.

"Uh huh." Lucy replied happily.

"Well as long as it's over before bedtime then I don't see why not." Peter told her.

Lucy grinned. "Okay okay," She said, before she started telling her made up story.

Peter couldn't help but smile as he listened. If there was one thing Lucy had, it was a big imagination. Her family had no idea how she came up with half the things she did, and Peter was left thinking that right that second as Lucy waffled on.

She talked and talked and talked and told the most magnificent story, all completely thought up of by her.

"Wow Lucy," Peter breathed once she was finished. "You should write a book."

Lucy seemed very happy with this and grinned. "Maybe one day I will." She agreed.

Peter smiled. "I'll make sure I'm the first to buy it and of course read it." He told her, "Now come on, bedtime."
