December 18th
It's almost Christmas••••••••
"It's almost Christmas!" Lucy exclaimed happily, grinning from ear to ear as she all but jumped up and down on the floor.
"Okay calm down Lu," Peter said with a laugh, but there was nothing but love and amusement in his voice.
"I can't!" Lucy declared. "Christmas is in one week and I'm so excited!"
Susan smiled at her. "You know if you don't think about it it will go quicker." She pointed out.
"But how can I not think about it?" Lucy said simply. "Christmas is the only thing I can think of right now."
"I think you should maybe think about the fact that your cookies have been in the oven long enough and I'm starting to smell them a little too much." Edmund piped up suddenly.
Lucy gasped, but she luckily did manage to save her cookies just in time, relieved she hadn't burnt them much at all.
"Thanks Ed," She breathed. "That would've been a disaster."
Susan chuckled. "I wouldn't quite call that a disaster." She said.
"I would." Edmund said, grabbing a cookie but almost immediately dropping it when I turned out to be burning hot.
"What did you expect?" Peter questioned, sounding astonished.
Edmund just shrugged. "I'm hungry."
