December 8th
Christmas shopping••••••••
"Okay I don't want to ruin the fun or anything but do we genuinely have to go Christmas shopping today?"
Susan frowned at her brother. "Why?" She asked.
"Well because it's a Saturday," Edmund muttered. "It's gonna be ridiculously busy."
"What other day do you suggest we go?" Susan questioned him, eyebrow raised.
Edmund sighed. "I dunno," He said. "Maybe one where we won't have to cling onto each other for dear life so we don't get separated."
Susan couldn't help but laugh at this. "Oh come on, it wouldn't be Christmas without it." She said happily enough. "Besides, I've really got to get a few bits and I'm sure everyone else does too, including you."
"Well yeah," Edmund sighed. "Alright alright, we'll go today."
"I wasn't gonna give you a choice anyway." Susan teased.
Edmund raised an eyebrow, amused. "Keep that up and I won't buy you a Christmas gift." He said.
"You could never do that." Susan told him.
"Maybe you're right," Edmund agreed. "However I probably could just buy you an orange or a piece of coal and call it a day."
Susan chuckled. "Jokes on you," She said. "I really like oranges."
