"How do I know Santa's real?"
Peter did a double take. He really hadn't expected that question to come out of his six year old brother's mouth, and it surprised him.
"What makes you ask?" He questioned.
Edmund shrugged. "Just wanted to know." He said. "Is he definitely real?"
"Of course he is." Peter said. "Who else do you think leaves you presents at Christmas?"
Edmund thought about this. "Good point." He said. "Do I have to believe to get presents?"
Peter chuckled a little. "If you believe you'll get presents, and if you're on the nice list too." He said.
"I am on the nice list." Edmund said firmly, sounding offended that Peter would even think otherwise.
Peter ruffled his hair. "I have no doubt you are."
