November 16th
In the hospital

Peter was met with a quiet house when he got back from college one Tuesday evening, and he was very confused considering the house was never usually quiet.

He dumped his bag down in the hallway before making his way into the living room, where he found Susan sat on the sofa reading a book.

"Where is everyone?" Peter asked when Susan looked up.

Susan sighed a little. "With Edmund," She said slowly, sounding unsure.

Peter frowned. "Where's Edmund?" He asked.

Susan gave him a sympathetic look. "He's ended up in the hospital." She replied.

Peter froze, his heart skipping a beat instantly. "Why?" He asked. "Is he okay?"

"He's fine," Susan reassured him.

"What happened?" Peter demanded.

"Poor thing was only trying to make himself some lunch," Susan said with maybe a hint of a smile. "Lucy made him jump and let's just say the knife he had ended up in his finger rather than the block of cheese."

Peter let out a sigh, half relieved it wasn't anything much more serious but also still a little worried. "How bad was it?" He asked, walking over and sitting beside his sister.

"I mean he didn't chop his finger off that's for sure." Susan told him. "But there was a decent amount of blood." She paused for a moment. "Lucy felt so bad she refused to stay here, demanded she go to the hospital with them."

Peter smiled weakly. "As long as he's okay." He murmured.

"Yeah he's alright," Susan breathed. "Reckon they'll be able to stitch him up or something. They should all be home soon, it's been a few hours."

Peter nodded.

He certainly hadn't expected that.
