October 6th
You jump, I jump

"If you jump, I jump."

Edmund turned to face his brother, frowning a little.

"I mean it." Peter said firmly. "I will and don't think I won't."

Edmund hesitated. "You really would?" He asked.

Peter raised an eyebrow. "You're kidding right?" He said. "Of course."

"Don't be ridiculous." Edmund said slowly. "There's no way you would."

Peter laughed. "You wanna bet?" He challenged.

Edmund placed his hands on his hips. "Maybe I do." He said with a smirk. "There's absolutely no way you're jumping off here into that water."

"If I do it, what will you give me?" Peter asked, rolling up his shirt sleeves.

Edmund laughed. "I'll do your chores for a week when we get home." He said.

Peter grinned, before walking up to the edge of the rock and looking down at the sea - and he immediately felt slightly sick.

Edmund chuckled at his reaction. "Higher than you thought right?" He teased.

Peter swallowed hard. "No it's fine." He said firmly.

Edmund smiled. "Make sure you jump out far enough so you don't hit the rock on the way down." He said casually.

Peter turned to face him. Perhaps this was a bad idea, after all he hadn't come on holiday just to end up in the hospital.

But then again, looking at Edmund told him that his little brother had already jumped multiple times, so it had to be somewhat safe.

And Peter was determined to prove Edmund wrong.

So after a long while, and a lot of persuasion from himself, he jumped off the rock and into the cold water below.

Edmund jumped off right after him, and they both laughed when they resurfaced.

"I honestly didn't think you had it in you." Edmund admitted.

Peter splashed him. "Well now you're doing my chores for a week so jokes on you." He said happily, before swimming off.
