You're free•••••••••
"Hey are you doing anything?"
"Not at the moment no." Peter replied.
"So you're free?" Edmund questioned.
"Yeaaaaah." Peter said cautiously. "Why?"
"You reckon you could help me?" His brother asked, holding up his homework.
Peter raised an eyebrow. "You're asking me for help with your homework?" He said, almost laughing.
Edmund sighed. "Yeah," He muttered. "Don't know if you'll be of any help though but it's worth a try."
Peter choked. "Wow," He breathed. "You have so much faith in me."
Edmund smirked a little. "It is hard, if I can't do it then I dunno if you could." He said. "Maybe I should go find someone else-"
"No chance, gimme the book." Peter cut him off, holding out his hand.
Edmund laughed and handed him the maths book, watching carefully as Peter stared at it.
"You look confused."
Peter frowned. "You're meant to figure this out?" He asked.
Edmund nodded. "Yeah, it's due in tomorrow and I've been stuck on it for a whole week." He explained.
"This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever." Peter said.
"That's what I thought!" Edmund cried.
"Id put in a complaint." Peter muttered sarcastically. "You gotta be some kind of maths genius to figure this out. You're smart and you can't do it so that says something."
"I actually hate school." Edmund grumbled.
Peter laughed. "I don't blame you."
