We'll do it together

"Okay, who actually knows what they're doing because I haven't got a clue."

Peter glanced over at his classmate, shrugging his shoulders. "I'm just as clueless as you are." He replied. "Half thinking of getting my brother to help and that's saying something."

"He the smart one?" Another of his friends piped up.

Peter snorted. "I dunno about that," He said, even though Edmund was definitely smart. "But he'd know how to work this out I'll tell you that now."

"Go find it." Someone said. "Maybe he can help us all."

"Or we could actually ask a teacher?" Another suggested.

"They won't help us," Peter said with an eye roll. "They give us the work and then we have to figure it out."

"Okay so who actually paid attention in his lesson today?"

Nobody said anything.

"No one?" Someone asked. "No one paid any attention."

"Oh come on he was droning on and on and I just zoned out." Peter sighed. "Starting to regret it now."

He also knew he could not get Edmund to help because he'd just get told off for not paying attention in class - but in Peter's defense, he was tired and it was maths.

"Look," Peter sighed eventually. "We'll do it together, I'm sure between all of us we can figure it out."

"Alright," He friend grumbled.

Peter turned back to his book, wanting nothing more than to rip it to shreds, but he knew that wouldn't get him anywhere so instead he picked up his pencil and got to work.
