When you lose someone•••••••
When you lose someone you learn to cope with it over time, you learn to live without them in a way you never thought possible, but now you have to because you have no other choice.
You learn to cope with it, but you never get over it.
There will always be that ache whenever their name is mentioned. There will still be those tears during special events because they aren't there. There will still be those sleepless nights when all you can think about is them.
You carry on with your life because you have to, but the pain is always there, the grief, the agony. You will never be able to get over a loved one dying, it's something that hits you deep, especially when you were close.
This is something that Susan knows all too well, and she hated every day that she knew what it felt like, but she did, and she'd never be able to un-know it, no matter how much she wished she could.
They were gone, and she couldn't turn back time, she couldn't bring them back and she couldn't change anything.
