"You're a cowboy like me: perched in the dark; telling all the rich folks anything they wanna hear, like it could be love. I could be the way forward only if they pay for it."

"No! No, let me go!" My eyes open in a panic.
"Hey, hey, it's okay," Robby immediately helps me sit up.
I shoot awake with my chest pounding and my stomach nauseous. I look around for Janice; she's not here. It's just Robby and Miguel. It's just Robby and Miguel. It's just Robby and Miguel.
"Z, are you okay?" Miguel stands up from his air mattress in concern.
My breathing is shaky as I try to act okay for Miguel and I wipe my tears, "Yeah."
"Here," Robby reaches past me for his water bottle. He hands it to me to drink out of.
I take a couple of sips, suddenly so thankful for it. The clock reads 2am. I sigh in frustration.
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay," Miguel says, obviously suppressing a yawn.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Robby brushes the hair out of my face some more.
I shake my head, "No. I'd rather just try to sleep again."
"Okay," he nods and sets the water bottle back.
"Can I do anything?" Miguel asks, obviously feeling bad about not helping me.
"I'm fine, really," I assure him. I've gotten better at taking care of myself after these nightmares, and I'll accept Robby's help. I just know this shouldn't be Miguel's burden and that this temporary living situation is the only reason why.
I take in a deep breath before laying back down and relying on Robby for support and warmth. He hugs me protectively under the covers.
I stay awake for a few minutes, desperate to get the former nightmare's visions out of my mind. I know logically that Janice can't hurt me anymore and that she isn't able to take anything else from me. But for some reason my subconcious won't let me forget her.
Then Robby's hand strokes my hair to help me sleep; I smile contently when it slowly does the trick.

"Are you ready?" Robby asks Kenny as he tries to find his balance on the circular deck in the koi pond.
"Uh... Yeah," the boy replies unconvincingly.
"Show us the first move," Robby takes the lead on this one.
Kenny slightly shifts then immediately falls off and into the water. I try to hold in my laugh as Kenny spits out the water in frustration.
"How am I ever gonna get this?" he frowns.
"Balance is key for Miyagi-Do. You have to master it to catch up to everyone else like you wanted," Robby tells him.
Kenny looks at me skeptically as I nod.
He rolls his eyes, "I bet LaRusso isn't able to do this. Is he?"
